I was there to do some work and unfortunately found the staff to be unpleasant to the people they were supposed to be taking care of. I heard "shut up!" and "stop it!" said with aggression by the caregivers to the disabled. I said "hello" to one person with down syndrome and a caregiver said "she's non-verbal but can understand". I found the staff disrespectful to the feelings of the disabled and my heart is broken for what they must have to endure with these kind of caregivers. Also, a little effort in engaging these helpless people would go a long way in demonstrating love that goes with caregiving.
