Sky Studio Lucia

Yesterday Denny and I went to Vancouver to experience the Lucia N°03 Hypnagogic Light Machine at Sky Studios. Denny has been once before with our family friend, Helena. Now I see they both returned unscathed from their trip there... I have mustered enough intestinal fortitude to go as well. HA! The Pineal Gland is located in the center of the brain. It is believed to be the bridge to higher consciousness and is also known as the Third Eye. One of the roles of the pineal gland is to detect white light through closed eyes. Light is received by the pineal gland, which is responsible for regulating sleep patterns and is believed to release DMT at birth, death, during childbirth and in ceremonies such as Ayahuasca. DMT is an integral part of our dreams, birth, death, psychic and visionary experiences. The Lucia light helps the user access the Theta state as well as high Alpha patterns, often associated with joy, intuition, creativity and high concentration. Upon arrival we meet Ja. She is lovely and welcoming. We enjoy a glass of infused water as Ja answers all questions we have. Next settling down on very comfortable beds with the Lucia N°03 Hypnagogic Light infront of us. Music on... very comfy... here we go.... I can't show you what I experienced while laying in front of this white strobing light, but I can try to explain in short version. Pretty COLOURS.. at first pastel. Slowly changing. And then as I relaxed more, vivid beautiful colors.. yellow to orange to blue with whites. Then reds to purples to deep blues to black. The black filled with thousands of small geometric diamond shapes that glistened and appeared to move past me. I finally thought...ah thats like Star Trek when the Enterprise moves through space. OH! I'm traveling...almost like through days to nights. The colors showing the sunrise to blue sky with white clouds. Changing to the colors of a gorgeous sunset to night skies filled with millions of stars. In my case I noticed a disconnect with time as the hour felt like mere minutes. . Amazing experience. Will do this again! Noone has the same journey, its different for everyone. Thank you Ja! You really are a beautiful soul. ?????❤

I highly recommend trying this treatment as a form of meditation. The ladies at Sky take their time and were very knowledgeable. I have already been three times and third time was a charm. Breathe, relax and journey into the mind. I found this treatment to be a great way to pose a question to myself with some wonderful clearing effects for my whole spirit.

What an amazing experience. A light show in my own head. I felt inspired and invigorated afterwards and would highly recommend this to people in the creative industries to get ideas flowing. Tina was extremely knowledgeable and professional in guiding me through the session. Can't wait to go back for more!

I love Sky Studio! My experience was fantastic with the most beautiful colours and geometric patterns. I have been seeking out a light studio in Edmonton but haven't found one with the Lucia light. I've tried others but none compare. Miss you Sky Studio!! PS... the staff was lovely!

Sky Studio is a beautiful space run by an incredible group of people. The light mediation experience is so unique, and has really helped me get better, more restful sleep. I highly recommend this studio and love the science behind the light meditation!

I have been going to Sky Studio for a few years now and recommend it for anyone and everyone. It is a beautiful, meditative experience that is available to you whether you have never meditated or do so regularly. You will be welcomed by the most wonderful and supportive team. I often pop in for a session in the middle of my work day, just to access some calm amongst the craziness. It is also the perfect evening activity that, in my experience, has led me to some of my best sleeps ever.

A truly unique experience. Two very friendly and thoughtful women shepard you through a light treatment paired with sounds and smells, which can be described as psychedelic. You acheive a wonderful feeling of relaxation and calm.
