Skull and Lotus Tattoo - Calgary
The staff is friendly, and care about each other, as I have seen sometimes one will go for a Tim's run, and I presume they switch who goes each time. But they support one another which I find makes the atmosphere super positive and energetic to be in! Being greeted when you first walk in is like a breath of fresh air, just love it! My tattoo artist is Jonathan, and he is a fantastic artist, and I have known him to specialize in anime/manga and fantasy, but I was extremely happy that he was willing to do a Mickey and Minnie Tattoo for me! It turned out amazing, and I would definitely go back each time for my tattoos, because I trust in him and his creative art skills! I highly recommend him!

My tattoo artist was Sherry, she is amazing, listened to what I wanted, payed attention to detail. She's really nice to!! She did a great job on my bee !!

She makes the process so easy and pays so much attention to detail and creates absolutely beautiful pieces! I can’t wait to get some more tattoos from her! The staff overall too have been very kind and they do a great job at keeping the shop clean and following COVID protocols as well :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My tattoos were all done by Sherry Maa. She is the best! Not only an amazing tattoo artist, but also funny, polite, sweet and open to new ideas.
Also I spent enough time in the studio to see the work of the other artists: top notch.
On top of that the environment is amazing. When I go there, I honestly have a lot of fun. While Sherry was doing her magic the other artists would come over or sit around to talk. Lots laughs.

The sweetest human in the world, she is a ray of sunshine. She has been the easiest to be tattooed by, I love how opened she is during the whole experience. Everyone at Skull and Lotus makes you feel super comfortable and they treat you with such kindness. I never have had a bad experience. Their shop is super clean, cozy & fun to be at. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a tattoo here from Jasper the other day and it was an amazing and welcoming experience!! Getting tattooed by Jasper was a really wonderful time, they were very kind and easy to talk to. This was my 9th tattoo, and definitely one of the most comfortable experiences I had. Not only did I feel comfortable in the position they had me in, but comfortable in having my body permanently inked by them. Jasper was very careful with the design, and took their time to ensure a wonderful piece. As well, all staff members were friendly, and the studio was very clean!! 10/10 would recommend!!!
