Luis is an amazing artist and he knows what he’s doing! Kept me comfortable throughout the whole process and was very fun to be around. The tattoo came out amazing and would 100% recommend for anyone going in for their first or looking to get amazing work done in Calgary.

This was my first tattoo experience and I was really hoping it would be a good one. I did some research and found Malos, it had great reviews. My fault was that I did not specify which artist I wanted to work with. My design was actually very simple, just a few words of text. I sent in the font type and the location of the tattoo. The customer service via email was great, although I did have to reschedule my tattoo on relatively short notice. I met with Lily at the shop and she went over everything with me. She was quite pleasant. The shop itself is very clean and minimalist. I was quite nervous during the tattoo as it was my first one but Lily did check in with me regularly to make sure I was good. My biggest issue was that her young children were dropped off at the shop midway through my tattoo and they were quite loud and rambunctious. At one point I was worried they would crash into the table I was on. It made the experience less comfortable than it could’ve been. I also think the kids may have been distracting the artist. Once my tattoo healed I could see quite a few imperfections and misalignment of the text. I made sure to follow all the aftercare instructions and bought the expensive cream they recommended. I had an experienced friend confirm that the tattoo was not done very well. I hate giving bad reviews but it’s important for me to be truthful about my experience. Hopefully the shop and artist will make use of this feedback.

Have gone to this studio for two full day sessions so far, both with Alvaro, and can honestly say it turned out way better than I could've imagined. I would 10/10 recommend Alvaro to anyone looking to get work done. The entire process was awesome and it was clear that every artist, specifically Alvaro, cared about putting the best piece together and took the time to make it look amazing. I will 100% be going back to finish my sleeve and to get more done after that.

Couldn't be happier with the experience! The studio itself was very clean and had a very welcoming environment! I felt extremely comfortable with my artist Lily as she not only made sure to give me the tattoo I had hoped for but had also checked in with me throughout the process to ask if I was doing alright! Not to mention the tattoo itself is flawless and I couldn't have asked for better. I will most definitely be coming back for any future tattoos and will be sure to recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Went in to get a little flower piece done by Terra and my goodness! We had so much fun chatting and hanging out while she did my piece! The line work is incredibly clean and she was super informative on everything she was doing, she also did an amazing job checking in with me to see if I needed any breaks. Highly recommend going to here for any of your tattooing needs! ???

I had a tattoo done by Rachel yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere of the shop is clean and comfortable. Rachel is quick but thorough she made sure that I was doing okay during the tattoo and offered breaks if needed she was also really informative in regard to taking care of my tattoo I would really recommend this shop and this artist.
