I met Marie when she first started her business at the location on top of a Dermatology Center on MacLeod Trail. My, how she has grown since then. Her Microbiology Science Degree combined with her customer service, passion and deep knowledge of skin care and products is number one. I have gone to dermatologists since age 17 and went for facials at many spas over the years. I met Marie when I was 38 and I finally found a gem in the marketplace. Most places just sell products and wash your face...so stupid. She takes the time to know you and makes an appropriate assessment using medical knowledge and science. Her facial was amazing and I stopped seeing my dermatologist because her advice and technique was all I needed. She never talked me into anything expensive or more than what I truly needed for my skin type. Now over 15 years later I have still never met anyone in this industry who knows skin or facials (unless they are dermatologists) the way Marie does. I still use her product recommendations and have never needed "extra skin care work" beyond the original routines we agreed on. Marie is a true and authentic individual in an industry that is wrought with false and complete garbage information. Marie's team and products are amazing.

I have been seeing Marie for years as my skin has changed a lot with two pregnancies and age. I love her and Skin Science. She is completely committed to looking after her clients and their skin. She not only carries incredible products, she even designed and developed her own skin care line which is AMAZING! Marie at SkinScience is utterly amazing and I just wish I would have gone to her years ago. I will never go anywhere else. Trina is an absolute expert in her field.She she extraordinarily knowledgeable when it comes to your skin and products and the treatments that would be effective on your specific skin type. I will not go to anyone else and will continue to visit Trina as I have been for many years. You always leave feeling like you’ve had a therapeutic treatment with instant results but yet also relaxed like you’ve been at the spa. Skin Science has a beautiful space that is modern and clean with a variety of services. Ive tried several products from their in-house formulated line and love it. I would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with Laura and Marie at SkinScience. I had never had anything like micro-needling done before, so I didn't know what to expect, but they made the me feel at ease instantly and the process was practically pain free. You can tell that they really care about their clients and have a wealth of knowledge about individual skin needs. Plus, they offer you great after care tips and products. SkinScience has forever transformed my skin! From struggling my entire life with acne prone skin, my skin has never been better. Marie and her team are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, honest and truly want the best for their clients. They offer top of the line products and treatments specifically targeted for each individual. Throughout the pandemic (when their clinic was closed) Marie offered advice and answered all my skin related questions. They were honest in advising me against a treatment that I had booked, noting that it may make my skin worse. While most skin care places would have taken my money and performed the treatment, Marie and her team knew it was not a good idea and offered alternative treatments. This review is so long overdue! What can I say about Skin Science and Marie? Well, not enough. Marie, is nothing short of exceptional at what she does. I can honestly say that my skin has NEVER been as healthy and vibrant as it is now. I have never felt pressured into any type of treatment or product like I had at other places. Marie, has her recommendations based on her expertise, educates and answers all my questions, and then ultimately, it has always been up to me to take the lead on my treatment plan. The products that she has shown as options for my skin and the ones I have chosen to use religiously have my skin looking and feeling amazing…to the point I get compliments on my skin often. It feels amazing, at almost 50 to leave my house free of any layer of concealer or foundation and let my natural skin show just how healthy and vibrant it looks on its own. Honestly, I have not met anyone like Marie or been to a place that has got my skin to the point where it is now…I love my skin! Marie is not only a leader and exceptional at what she does with skin, she is truly one of the most authentic people you would ever meet. Marie, truly wants her clients to leave their appts feeling amazing on the inside and out. It is rare that you find professionals that have the ability to balance “the task at hand” along with connecting with the client. Call it customer service or whatever you want, but Marie possesses the ability to leave her clients feeling like their care and satisfaction is as important…or even more important to her than it is themselves.
