I heard good things about Skin Effects and decided to go for a consultation as I have very difficult skin after a couple of surgeries. I had a consultation with Ally who was very knowledgeable about my concerns and made me feel comfortable. After using products my skin needed, I had a hydra facial before starting scar reduction. Their goal is to educate and create treatment plans that will make a difference in your life. I've never felt persuaded by the Skin Effect staff like I have experienced at other medical spas in Edmonton. They will create a treatment plan that works with your budget and your comfort level. The physical space of Skin Effect is jaw-dropping. You truly feel like royalty when you are having a treatment done. They visually and outdid themselves when designing the space. Some staff members that have been a memorable part of my experience at Skin Effect is Ally. She performed my chemical peel recently. She is professional and kind, and she truly cares about her patients. I struggle with acne that is brought on by stress. The chemical peel reversed my acne completely, and my skin has never looked so amazing. She made the chemical peel experience as comfortable as possible, and I will make Skin Effect the place I go for chemical peels from now on based on my positive experience with Ally. Lexi has also made my experience at Skin Effect a positive one. My first enhancement was a lip-flip; I was pretty nervous because I have never had any filler/Botox in my lips before. Lexi made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. She explained everything that she was doing in a way that I could understand, and the outcome was fantastic. The lip flip gave me a small effects of what lip filler would look like and the results lasted about two months. I will definitely receive this enhancement again and highly recommend Lexi to anyone considering a lip flip or any facial enhancement. Maggie is one of the owners of Skin Effect. She made an effort to pop her head in during my appointment to make sure I had a pleasant experience. She is a business owner that genuinely cares about every customer that walks through the door, and her smile brightens any room she walks in (even with a mask on). I had a consultation at Skin Effects (which is intimidating to begin with as a first time visitor to a medic spa), but nurse Ally made the experience incredible for me! I felt so comfortable, at ease, and very happy when I left! All of my questions were answered and the consultation was so informative, and I felt like nurse Ally was honest about all of the treatments and expectation in regard to results. Can't wait to start my treatments! Also drove in from Edmonton, 1000% worth the 30 minute drive!

Lovely place, knowledgable staff, exceptional customer service. Had a great experience with my new alumier products and the way my skin looks and feels with it. Only reason for loss of stars is after my hydrafacial, i have a fair sized gash on my nose bridge i believe from the derma-planing. Otherwise my skin texture is improving daily and feels amazing and refreshed.

Can’t say enough about Skin Effect laser & medical aesthetics!! I have been struggling with acne for awhile and it has gotten worse over the pandemic. Ally is so incredibly knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. She wants what’s best for you and your skin needs. Ally explained steps on how to take care of my skin with Zo skin health and Alumier products while also educating me on what my skin needed. You are in good hands at Skin effect spa! Any time spent here is worth the investment. My skin has made such an amazing improvement while going here with the treatments and products she choose for my skin. This place is amazing! I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to Ally (I suffer from facial hair due to PCOS). Before I found Skin Effect Laser and Medical Aesthetics, I was going to different laser clinic that was recommended by my GP (I have dark skin & was nervous about laser so I asked my GP & she referred me to a clinic that supposedly knows how to treat dark skin), however after 3 treatments I knew I was at a wrong place (nothing was happening, not even tiniest improvement). I am so glad to have found this place! Ally is amazing, professional, kind & very caring! I had amazing results after the first treatment. I am excited to continue my treatment. I definitely recommend this place & they have best prices too!

I had the hydrafacial with Alley and the experience was fantastic! My skin is literally glowing now and she educated me on how to keep my skin healthy and looking great! I will absolutely be going back to see her!
