D	David Pan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 教练对孩子很热情，俱乐部比社区更多教练虽然孩子也更多，但感觉更负责。过于幼小的孩子容易累，比较不适合长时间在陌生环境，可能会感觉有压力。需要勇敢，教练才能起到完美的领路人作用。 Coaches are very enthusiastic to children, clubs have more coaches than communities, although there are more children, but they feel more responsible. Children who are too young are easy to get tired and are less suitable for staying in an unfamiliar environment for a long time. They may feel stressful. It takes bravery for a coach to play the role of a perfect guide.

E	Erica Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience is not very good l don’t believe this club cares for kids, I believe it’s all about the money for them, coach that cares and willing to fight for the kids they fire, if you need your child/children to be progressive please, please avoid this club
H	Hannah Chambers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girls are in the CanSkate program and they both love it: the staff and volunteers here are the best and they get so much one on one attention. So pleased with the program - it's really well done and the kids have a great time as they learn to skate.
S	Stefania Yolanda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I skated for this club and taught canskate for many years as a program assistant. They would put credits into an account for future use. I inquired about adult programs later in life and I wanted to use the funds I earned as a program assistant to pay a portion of my registration fees. When I called they told me I only had a small amount of funds left.. Meanwhile I never used the funds, ever!. After many years of coaching I would have had a couple hundred dollars to use. I distinctly recall requesting some funds to be paid to my coaches back then but they said never received It. I had told the person in charge of the funds and asked for the money to be sent back to my account and my parents ended up paying the coaches directly what should have come out of my account. .. Long story short, many years later I found out that the funds were never sent back to my account and I'm very disappointed at the very least seeing as how I was a child at the time you tend to trust those in charge. I'll join anywhere but this club. Keep an eye on your children's accounts if this is still how program assistants work. They also would have us sign In before each shift and some weeks the sheet wouldn't be there but we were told we'd still get the credit.. also had issues with not being fully credited.

Cassie Campbell Community Centre is also an excellent facility. For one-on-one training, you need to do some due diligence when selecting a coach (or coaches). Don't judge the club based on what one coach or parent tells you. There's always another side to the story. Obligatory Disclaimer: I am not a present or past board member, staff, coach, or student.

I look at videos of him when he started and look at him now, 4 months later is like night and day. I like that they allow the kids to fall, and teach them how to get back up on their own. My son uses that technique of holding onto his knee to bring himself up and he learned that from CanSkate. He rarely falls now though. Great program. I would sign him up again, but it's currently full but we will continue to have him practise on his own.
