★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joined "Learn to Sing" program with South Island Harmonies. They practice at Silver Threads every Tuesday evening. The facility serves South Island Harmonies well. It gets 4 stars because the bathrooms are in terrible need of a plumber.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am presently attending craft classes at Silver Threads... The people are so warm and caring. They fully support each other in a way that is very touching and human. Although I have a BFA and have taught Art for years I have never learned how to do mosaic ... we are making the most gorgeous little bird houses ...so individually delightful... !!! It is a great way to recycle damaged antique dishes... you and always get help with knitting, crochet etc.... so glad I joined....Doreen D,
