Had front end suspension work done and my 10 year old vehicle feels like new again... Highly recommend the 'SILVER' guys, rear of the building 426 Gladstone and Kent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible experience. Honest, fast work, fair pricing, insightful advice to ensure ongoing care of my vehicle.
This past Saturday my car overheated and hemorrhaged coolant. Looked for nearby garages and the excellent reviews made me call them up. They advised how to get my vehicle to them safely, listened to my explanation of the problem with respect and gave me an overview of possible problems (cracked radiator, broken clamp, leaky hose, etc.) and an estimated time of when they'd have an answer.
Within an hour he'd identified the problem, and implemented an appropriate and inexpensive fix (thankfully it was only a rusted coolant hose clamp). I asked if he had the time to provide additional services (oil change & mechanical inspection). He did so expediently, offered an incredibly fair price for his services, and gave advice on how to maintain my vehicle and prioritize upcoming repairs.
He took an incredibly stressful day and offered a calm, humorous, competent and fair approach. Highly recommend.
For female car owners: highly recommend. I've lost count of amount of times I've been condescended to by mechanics and had them attempt to scam me on the basis of my gender/perceived ignorance. He was incredibly respectful and to the point, and even when he discovered I'd made a silly maintenance error, he used it as an opportunity to educate me for the next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eric and Jeremy, the absolute beauts running the show, encompass all the best values of good mechanics. Through their work, you will be reminded what good automobile service is supposed to be like.
At silver auto, Eric and Jeremy carry out their work in a straightforward and transparent fashion giving you the information you need and in understandable terms. They put remarkable effort in tailoring their work to each client's situation and keep it real when telling you what issues are worth fixing and what aren't. They even got me to stop in a week past the appointment to ensure their work was successful.
My experience here is heavily contrasted by the eggregious nature of the service I received at a dealership earlier in the year. Nobody deals like Dilawri and that is an excellent thing in the end as they set the bar for what not to do. I have moved on to better things and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Eric and Jeremy are always attentive and respectful, only charge for what they need to and have very reasonable prices. They always take the time to explain the issue and costs before they ask if you want to move forward with repairs, and also explain everything they did when you come back to the garage to pick up your car. I am always confident they did a good job. As a young woman, it is sometimes nerve wrecking to go to a garage because I don't know if I'll be patronized or sold services or repairs I don't need, and Eric and Jeremy have never made me feel that way. My car is 12 years old and needs lots of repairs and maintenance, and they are my go-to for everything. Good prices, excellent service, always fast. You won't regret going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I accidentally drove through a small lake and got water in the air intake. I ruined the engine in an instant. I managed to drive for a week but the engine noise got crazy. I went to 2 garages and was denied twice. The third garage, Silver Auto, took my car.
Eric and Jeremy ended up putting a new engine (and clutch) in the car. It wasn’t cheap but I am very happy with the end result. The car is now in better shape than when I bought it. Eric did help me with the price quite a bit because of my specific scenario.
It’s a 2012 car with a 2017 motor now.
169000 / 21000.
Before committing to the job they did a thorough inspection of the car to make sure that it made sense to replace the engine.
They added an undercoat and treated some rust on the roof to make sure that this investment lasts as long as possible.
Now that they have resurrected my vehicle, and know the car inside and out, they will be my go-to garage for as long as I live in this neighbourhood.
