★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very hit and miss based upon the service. Had a gentleman ignore our group for a good 10 minutes and made a horrible shawarma. He stood around and walked back and forth moving tickets around, did not even acknowledge us. Took a while to finish whatever he was doing and then rudely asked "whats your order?" while taking his sweet time.
Went a week later and with a different person had a great meal and amazing service. He was kind, made great small talk about what was happening in the city while making our food and was genuinely being attentive with how he made the meal. We were in and out quickly with no fuss and were very satisfied.

A platter usually takes me 3-4 meals to finish.
The proteins are sometimes old and hard when I order from them.
Their falafel is very nice as well.
Good food!

Overall it's definitely worth a try when you're around. The place serves one of the best authentic shawarmas. Even their mini donuts were pretty good, but don't forget to order the caramel sauce with it. Ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and it tasted really well of thr properly cooked chicken, sauces and addons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is pretty nice and neat. Their chicken shawarma is solid as well as the kafta. It’s really tasty and delicious. Unlike Rideau location, this one is organized and staff is professional. Quantity is really good and the plate is full. Only the garlic sauce is a bit heavy, the hummus is a lot better. Will go back again and try new plates at this location. Great shawarma spot in Ottawa

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best shawarma places in Ottawa. The food portions were more than enough for one person, in fact two people can share one dish. The food presentation was appetizing. The employees were extremely friendly, they even gave us extra toppings. The dining atmosphere was very comfortable & clean.

Amazing portions of perfectly cooked shawarma meat sleeping on a bed of rice and heavenly garlic potatoes slathered with tahini and garlic sauce you will definitely leave satisfied.
If you're downtown in Ottawa for what ever reason, definitely come to shawarma palace for amazing shawarma.
