Shoppers Drug Mart

It is faster to call the pharmacy if you can than to go in person. After waiting in line for a while without anyone attending to me, I decided to place a call and was attended to right away. As others have said, the pharmacy seems disorganized.

The most disorganized and unfriendly pharmacy in Kelowna. I have been going to this pharmacy for the past 4 years, and I can confidently say I have never once had a positive, well-organized, or friendly experience. Every time that I have had to pick up a prescription in the past (typically once a month), my prescriptions have never been ready at the time they say that it will be ready by. I have tried to counteract this by always coming hours after they say it will be ready, only to find on countless occasions that it is STILL not ready. The customer service is absolutely horrible. All of the staff are unfriendly, and inattentive. None of the staff wear name tags. Tonight was my last straw, as I came by to pick up three prescriptions that were faxed over by my doctor 3 weeks ago for an operation I have tomorrow... I was told by the pharmacy that they did not have it. I was told a number of things including, "It was never ordered", "It was ordered but never came", "the order was accidentally cancelled by someone, and I don't know who", and so on... absolutely typical of this pharmacy-gongshow. The pharmacy team was unapologetic. I waited another hour and fifteen minutes for the pharmacist to call other pharmacies to see if anyone had the prescriptions I needed to pick up. Embarrassing. After the prescriptions were able to be located at another pharmacy I was given no apology still, and told to drive elsewhere to pick up my prescription. Shoppers Drug Mart Customer Care Team, I see you often take the time to respond to your reviews with reused, copied & pasted responses. Classy. I would appreciate a custom response to know that you have genuinely read this review with details on how you are working towards solving these ongoing issues that many of your customers are experiencing at this location. I will also be sending this review and screenshots of other's review's to Jeff Leger's work email, as well as contacting corporate customer support to explain in further detail all of my concerns and complaints with this locations pharmacy and team. This has been the last straw. After four years of coping with this horrible pharmacy, I will never return. What an absolute DISGRACE of a business.

Terrible customer service!!! I thought I'd give the pharmacy staff one more try after negative past experiences. Unfortunately I will go elsewhere moving forward. No effort made at all for even a basic hello, or offer of help. The assistant didn't ask for my new insurance details simply saying coverage cancelled. No help at all adding my new insurance details to my file or offer of optimum card. Unfortunately no name tags worn by any pharmacy staff to make note of. This is a great little community but unfortunately this department within Shoppers is really falling short in Glenmore. Visit elsewhere if you are looking for basic customer service and assistance.

I could not say enough about Nathan and his staff including the wonderful young lady who worked late to ensure are swabs were done and paperwork completed. If not for their patience and help, we would have missed our trip. A trip that , like many, we have waited 2 years for. They helped us navigate problems with our ability to access our lab requisitions and problems with my email and iPhone. The Lab delivery was even nice enough to give us a few more minutes to get it all finished up. This was totally our fault and our lack of preparation and yet the were all so kind. Thank you so much!! Called for prescription on Monday. Didn't hear anything so called Wednesday and told it was ready and to come in to pick it up. Came in and they don't have it available in store let alone ready for pick up. What a waste of time and a trip. Better off finding a different pharmacy. Unbelievable to be lied to like this about an important prescription.

Another one star review for the worst pharmacy in Kelowna, possibly Canada. Disrespecting and humiliating customers for no reason. The people who work at this store are the scum of the earth. The owner of this pharmacy should be embarrassed for having employed the worst staff imaginable. Roughly all the staff on shift were absolutely degrading towards customers. Do yourself a favour and go to any other pharmacy besides this one.

Shoppers Drug Mart should be embarrassed to be affiliated with the Pharmacy owned by Nathan Klaassen INC. Please avoid this pharmacy at all costs (it's not worth it). Especially if you're elderly or have sensitive ailments. You would think that Shoppers Drug Mart would have already intervened and handled the main issues discussed in these reviews by May 2022. Unfortunately that is not the case, I have read many of these reviews and all the 1 star reviews are true. Mostly all shifts exhibit the following behavior - Disorganized (there system is always down) - Dishonest (Say a prescription is ready to go and filled but in reality you have to wait 20 - 40 minutes once arrived) - Staff not trained - Unprofessional isn't even the right term, it's down right rude. They will yell you're prescription and your ailment across the pharmacy for everyone to hear, they will talk down to you like you have no idea what you're talking about. I don't want to know what they discuss after you walk away for others to hear. - RUDE STAFF - There is a lovely East Indian lady at the counter, I truly feel for you as your coworkers show no empathy, emotion or time for anyone. They treat people like they're number's and not a human. IF YOU'RE HARD OF HEARING OR NEED A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY. I personally will not be going back to the Nathan Klaassen Inc Pharmacy. I hope that Shoppers Drug Mart takes this seriously and intervenes as this is not okay. I feel bad for everyone who has had the same experience, hopefully no one else will again.

Your prescriptions are never ready , no matter how much time you give them to fill it. Always have to wait or come back later.
