They answered the phone, said "Is it okay if I put you on hold" didn't wait for an answer and while I was saying sure the awful on hold music they have was already overpowering my response. Happens every single time and when I go in to get them filled I've had multiple issues with calling way in advance and them still not having it ready 24h+ later. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
W	Will Shortt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have dealt with Shoppers Drugmart Downtown Cambridge for many years. THEY WERE AMAZING. I moved to downtown Kitchener August of 2021 (Last year) and the business I have done at this location is completely appalling. I have had to switch insurance providers and everything I needed to pick up today didn't get covered. They did not even take the time to try to help me. I was told to call ManuLife.. I spent well over an hour trying to get to the bottom of it with ManuLife to be told that everything should have been covered. I am type two diabetic and I needed these medications a few weeks ago. They have even lost scripts sent in from my doctors office. Its time to change to an independent pharmacy. Good bye SDM 250 King st
M	M Ray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every single time I'm in the store security follows me around. Last time they did this I asked why they were following me... He turned around and walked away without saying anything then stood behind me as I cashed out. I made sure to go right to the teller because he was standing there staring at me. As I left I said bye and thanked him. This store does nothing to make anyone feel welcome. Its not like I look like like regular downtown rifraff they get. I didnt deserve such treatment. It makes me hate going into this location.
a	ab man on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I also avoid this location even though it is the closest one to me. M Ray below is 100% correct. Most of the time someone is following me around the store. The last time i was there, i went in to go to the postal outlet and i was followed from the second i walked in. I was tailed from the front doors, all the way back, then i turned around to get out the front doors and followed out. It's a middle eastern looking guy. This was in the middle of the afternoon and the store had other customers, but i was singled out for whatever reason.
M	Max Pacheco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never had a pharmacy so difficult to get a hold of. It takes multiple phone calls and long wait times to get a hold to ask simple questions. However, this week has been especially terrible - two straight days of every call going right to a busy signal. Either their phone line is down or they literally have their business number running through a single-line house phone. Once you speak to someone in my experience they've been relatively nice and helpful, but I don't want such a difficult-to-reach, unresponsive pharmacy. I can't have unreliability with any prescriptions and I simply don't have the time to be chasing down people for simple questions and answers.
C	Caitlin Lake on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately have to echo complaints of other especially re the pharmacy- every time I have to call I am immediately put on hold and never taken off hold (I usually wait around 20 minutes before giving up), meaning I have to call multiple times to get service. I have also been at the pharmacy and heard assistants yell across the pharmacy to a patient "X, your methadone will be ready soon!" the lack of regard for patient privacy is deeply concerning

Ruth and John in the pharmacy are always there for me to answer questions and offer guidance, and Richard at cash keeps me in stitches every time I am in the store. I don't know everyone's names yet but I just love them all to pieces. Thank you for being there for me everyone!
I	Impressive Comics on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEWARE!!! HORRIBLE PHARMACY..LOOK AT ALL OF THE REVIEWS ON THIS PHARMACY. Yesterday I called and spoke to a pharmacy rep on the phone regarding covid booster shot appointments. She told me they had two openings for the following day (today) and if I would like to book it. I said yes and arrived today 15min before my 1:30pm appointment. There was some confusion when I arrived because this pharmacy in general seems like it's very unorganized, but someone took my health card and told me to wait to be called in for my vaccine. After waiting over an HOUR and watching 4 people who arrived after me go in ahead of me, I hear the "man" John McKay, who is giving the shots say out loud, he didn't have an appointment so he can keep waiting. I took all the steps required to properly book an appointment and even took time off work for what? To be treated like this? I just wanted to get my booster but was ultimately denied by JOHN MCKAY. I could no longer wait and after hearing him say that I decided to get my health card back and left. It was obvious that I was not wanted there. Perhaps John didn't like the way I looked or had some other issue with me but whatever the reason, I hope he gets some help and stops working at a pharmacy because he shouldn't be dealing with the public.
