Wow there are a lot of 1 star reviews for this place. Yikes! I just stepped in to kill some time until my cousin’s dentist appointment next door. I was just browsing around so I didn’t interact with any employees. The shelves are well stocked and organized. The postal office is located in the far back corner and so are some of their clearance final sale items. Their prices are moderate to high when compared to Walmart. Although they do have times when their sale price drops lower than Walmart so watch the flyers ! You get the Walmart price and PC points ! There is self checkout too ! The pharmacy here doesn’t have a good rep. Based off the number of people I would probably avoid it too.

I have been in line for 15 minutes… Only one cashier working and one lady trying to compel old people to do use self checkout instead of staying in line. When I finally reached the checkout, the cashier asks me if I have PC Optimum card and I said no, didn’t want to extend my pain. Then he scans his own card, would be too bad for my points to go to waste.

The pharmacy at Dufferin and Major Mackenzie do Not answer the phone, never. Had to go into the pharmacy, only to be meet with very, very nonchalant staff behind the counter. This has happened on more than one occasion. Still waiting for a call from the manager and/ or pharmacy manager. There has been a change in the staffing and, the service has gone to zero. Will not be going back to that location, and have consequently moved my account to Keele & Major Mackenzie. They are very much the opposite to your branch and, ultimately have a genuine interest in their customers.

Would give zero stars to the Pharmacy worker who dealt with my family today to obtain a flu shot. Kimia was her name. She was exceptionally rude and very bad at communicating with my family. She made the process of obtaining a flu shot very frustrating for people who are trying to be healthy and keep others safe. Despite filling out the paperwork beforehand online and obtaining the confirmation code, they were made to fill everything out again while she condescended them and misunderstood their answers. There was a general disconnect within the pharmacy workers who gave confusing instructions to my family, including whether future boosters for other vaccines such as MMR are available at this location without a physician prescription. If it wasn't for another pharmacist clarifying with my family, they would have left with the wrong information entirely. Somebody in management needs to provide some much needed patient interaction training to this particular worker.

I went in looking for eye serum and vitamin c serum and was greeted by two nice people named STELLA and SANDRA . They were very sweet, polite, and patient with me when I asked them so many questions. I highly recommend seeing them if you have ANY questions, They were definitely the best cosmeticians???

I was calling to the store to ask them to receive a prescription from shoppers drug at different location. I hang on a line for half an hour while driving to the store, but they wouldn't take my call. Finally I stood in front of the pharmacist already, still being on a line, and they wouldn't pick. Fine, I'm there anyway. But then they couldn't reach the other location, so the prescription couldn't be transferred! I was adviced to try later (!). I already spent nearly 40 minutes trying to get that prescription, and they suggest to have a walk in the store and try it later. Are you serious? Why would it be so complicated to communicate the docs between stores? Each time we buy anything, the pharmacist is given 15 min. by default to prepare basic stuff, even if it's already packed. What are you doing during this time? Can you pick a phone? Can you help someone with the prescription transfer? Can you not lie when you tell customers they can have a refill in a different location, just give a call and we'll send your prescription...'? Bottom line, I drove myself to the original location, picked my med and spent on it in total 2 hours. The sad part is that there is nobody to talk to in the store, everybody so busy to fill their 15 minutes 'off' with business.

This location was good until my recent visits. The wait time to get your presentation increased from 15-20 minutes to more than one hour. They ask you to leave the shop and they will text you to come back and pick up your medications. It is very inconvenient if you live far from this location.

Booked an appointment online for COVID test but when we arrived it took 30 minutes for the pharmacist just to take a look at our file. And then another 1 hour for the test and result. They are always rude, don't care about you and never value your time and business. We had bad experience once agian when we went in to pick up our scheduled prescription sent 2 hours ago by my doctor. Had to wait for 30 minutes, no service at all plus the staff have some kind of an attitude. They can't manage customers with scheduled appointments and scheduled prescription pick ups.
