This is the most unprofessional, disorganized drug store I've ever dealt with. the staff is rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Online prescriptions are not replied to - had to call days later just to get confirmation that the prescription was ready. They charged insurance incorrect amounts and staff very argumentative and defensive when concerns pointed out. We are switching pharmacies.

I should have listened to the reviews about this pharmacy. I went there for subscription fill up, the assistant Jason was initially rude and sarcastic when I asked a few questions about the medicine. When I went to pickup, the girl at the register started fighting with me that she cant hear me and that I am making her do too much effort. I told her I have mask and that's a common issue these days. Then she couldn't find me record to give me the stuff, and was totally rude as if I am asking her some favour. She gave it to me after charging me, no thanks, nothing, walked away. Total prescription was like over $300 and look at the attitude I got!. I have been to other shoppers location, walmart pharmacy and no one comes close to this. Never again to this place. How can they operate with such rude staff? Do they not have corporate oversight? No one complains to their head office? Told my family to avoid this location.

I did not want to deal with the Shoppers at 404 due to previous bad experiences. So it keeps going. I asked my doctor to send a prescription to a different Shoppers, by mistake he sent it to 404. I did not want to bother my doctor so I said ok one last time. 2 of the pills were totally crushed....at about $2.00 EACH. Also, my group benefits said they could not read the receipt due to poor quality of print out. I waited 4 in line to pick this up.....NO social distancing when I was at the pick up counter someone was next to me one foot away.......this is a drug store that cannot support social distancing. Also, previously I was in the drug store during the throws of the pandemic....they messed up did not have my prescription ready and told me I could wait in a chair that I saw a gentlemen sitting in 3 minutes early......no CLEANING, NO CARRYING. I should have insisted my doctor re-direct the prescription next time I will. VERY POOR SHOPPHERS AT 404, READ THE REVIEW BAD

Even 1star would be too much. I needed to refill a medication for my elderly mother and there was discrepancy in the on-line file. I called the pharmacy to clear the issue. I talked to the owner who tried to explain that «you know, the web- site could be shaky », that they were very busy and that pandemic shook the things up. When I tried to say that blaming a not- well done job on pandemic or anything else would not work for me, he rudely advise me to find some place else and hung up on me!! It is not the fist time this particular pharmacy gives me the hard time. September 2020, this pharmacy gave me a very stressful and painful time because they mixed up my medications, because of it, I had to deal with an excruciating pain after a major surgery! I am certainly taking my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same. Now, I understand why this pharmacy is a pain. « The fish starts rutting from the head. » One of those who got a licence just to make money and decided that they can do and say whatever they want. It is scary because they are in a health care field!!! I can only imagine how many people just using it because they cannot go somewhere else and they could get their medication mixed up without even noticing it. People may seriously be harmed but this kind of pharmacy. The owner, go back to OCP, get the proper training + customer service training in the health care for yourself and your team!! It is a pharmacy and not some farm market!!!!

This one does not deserve even one star. The owner is utterly disrespectful. The personnel is lost. The medications get mixed up. It is a pharmacy and people working there need to be trained properly in their profession and in customer service for health care professionals. No person should experience rudeness of the owner and his sudden hanging up when he is asked for his name and his licence number. Dear owner, you own the pharmacy, not a farm market and your pharmacy would be held responsible one day for your lousy service through official complain and investigation. Totally unprofessional and heartless service. Why to even get the licence in health care field? It is scary to deal with this kind of licensed pharmacist and pharmacy because the health of people depends on the quality of its service. Not trustworthy at all. Might be even dangerous for some patients. I have had enough of this rude unprofessional place. They do not deserve my hard earned money and time. I am certainly taking my business to another pharmacy. Stay away from them !

Absolutely unprofessional and heartless service at this pharmacy. My 7 year old in pain couldn't get a prescription because the pharmacist (slim East Indian, middle age man with glasses) needed to wrap up for the night due to his long day, when I came within the open hours? Asking if I can come back tomorrow so he can get ready for closing? After explaining her painful situation and when people make it to this place in time, they thank God in hopes of getting relief and healing. Shouldn't those in the medical field understand that? Isn't that what they signed up for? To help people, especially the vulnerable and helpless. No wonder the ratings for this place is so low, with so many 1 ratings. Get your staff in order!!! This is a time we all need each other and the staff here are displaying selfishness and disrespect! So unfortunate!!!

Customer Service and efficiency are not on the list of priorities at this Shoppers. The staff do not want to work there and it shows. The pharmacy department will go out of their way to avoid you and if you try to get around them by calling in your prescription, expect to be put on hold for 30+ minutes, and consider yourself lucky if they pick up at all - so they've covered that angle too. If you finally make it into the pharmacy to pick up your prescription, expect it not be filled, or find that there's a delay or confusion or a misplacement of your medication and then expect to watch them search for it. Every. Single. Time. Frustration aside its actually quite mind boggling to witness such continuous disarray. The best thing this location did was put in self check outs because a lineup of 3 people can take up to 15 minutes and overwhelm staff. There is zero sense of urgency and even service at a regular pace is foreign to those who work there. 1 star given because a) there weren't any 0 star options and the only smile or acknowledgement you may receive is from someone in the beauty department and b) its a convenient location if you need to run in and do your own self check out and avoid the staff as they do you. Independence will be the key to your successful experience. To restore your faith in customer service and efficiency, it's best to seek it elsewhere. The pharmacy in Metro, in the same plaza, provides a 180 in customer service and organization as does the pharmacy in the Dixon Medical centre. So do yourself a favour and save yourself from the poor treatment, or complete lack thereof, you will likely receive from this Shoppers location.
