★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much more than the usual bead store! It's a pirate's den full of shiny treasures, pottery, handmade ornaments, candles and other crafts. They had exactly what I was looking for in terms of stringing a necklace together as well. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with twinkling lights and dangling treasures - kids would love this place. I had a great experience with the shop owner and with other patrons in the store. This is a community-based business and it's worth popping in just to check them out even if beading isn't necessarily your thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing shop. If you love anything to do with beads COME HERE. As soon as you walk in you see hundreds of types of beads on display.
Everything from wooden beads to stone beads to glass beads. As well as findings and various types of string.
You are able to buy beads in singles or strands.
They also carry pottery, jewelery, and other things!
It is am amazing little shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is, hands down, the best bead shop on the North Island. The owner takes so much pride in her store and the atmosphere is amazing. There is so much colour and texture it can seem overwhelming but she has them all layed around the store according to colour so it is easy to find what your looking for.
The shipwreck theme only adds to the decor and makes you feel like you have stepped into another world.
One of my favorite stores Downtown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dark, over-crowded with rude staff. I spend thousands of dollars in beads per year but no longer go near the place. Vast selection of semi-precious beads, I will give them that, but I don't buy from them anymore.
