Shibley Righton took on a very difficult case for me (alongside a group of Purchasers). While it was a bumpy road getting to the positive outcome in the end (at no fault of this firm), the lawyers at the Shibley Righton handling this case were very responsive, gave succinct advice along the way, and demonstrated the utmost preparedness and professionalism at every step in the process. I would not hesitate recommending their services to anyone dealing with condominium matters, or commercial law in real estate in the future.

Shipley Righton has an extremely capable and knowledgeable team of condominium lawyers. Our Board of Directors has been very pleased with their successful handling of a variety of issues. Their professional response time is rapid and their fees are reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Back in 2000, Audrey Loeb handled the purchase of my first ondominium. Buying from plans added an extra dimension of anxiety but I needn't have worried. I still have her heavily marked-up copy of the "Condominium Documents" that was used in the negotiations and show it to people who wonder if it's OK to use a regular real estate lawyer when buying or selling a condominium. Spoiler alert: it's not.

My partner and I were referred to Deborah Holden by a colleague, and we’re happy that we were. She was prompt, empathetic, and very professional during our initial chat over the phone. Don’t be turned off by the google reviews! I would definitely recommend Deborah if you have any labour/employment issues!

I've sat on both sides of the table with this firm and they have always been professional and thorough. My emails are promptly responded to and I've always felt as though my interests, as their client, were at the forefront when providing advice, strategy and discussing tactics. Other reviewers seem to provide negative reviews but it reads like they're probably receiving liens on their units for failure to pay fees. I'm happy for my lawyer to draw the ire from those that gave me cause to hire a lawyer in the first place. I wouldn't hesitate contacting them if I needed their services in the future.

Our condominium corporation has been working with Shibley Righton for several years and with Audrey Loeb in particular when she was at another law firm. She is extremely knowledgable about all condominium issues. We have found her to be extremely responsive and her wealth and breadth of knowledge cannot be praised enough. We have likewise enjoyed our work with a number of other lawyers of the firm for other issues such as employment and contracts. We highly recommend Shibley Righton and Audrey Loeb in particular and would not consider working with any other law firm.

Whatever you do, do not use this firm, I strongly strongly urge you. As the previous reviews claim they rip you off of money and charge insane fees. Its criminal how this firm operates. The 5 star reviews are all left from their employees. I have dealt with many lawyers over my lifetime and I can honestly say this firm is BY FAR the worst. From one phone conversation to the next they're already changing what they said last. They lie through there teeth to take your money and charge unfathomable rates. If you don't want to bankrupt yourself, take the money they would have stolen from you and put a downpayment on a house. Thats apparently what it costs to file paperwork.
