β β β β β So I needed a private broker for a mortgage and Anthony was fantastic at patiently explaining everything to me (as there were a lot of moving parts and people involved in the process) and answering every single on of my questions. I feel like he really considered what made the most sense for my particular situation and was there every step of the way. He and Sydney were always quick to get back to me and despite unforeseen delays (not due to anything on their end), everything has gone smoothly so far! I'd highly recommend Anthony and Sherwood Mortgage Group. They know what they're doing and are excellent communicators as well!

For many years, my husband and I have been looking for a mortgage advisor, who not only understands our needs but will ensure we get the best mortgage rates. We're super grateful to have met Vito Parrotta! He helped reduce a significant amount of stress and anxiety for both of us during the mortgage approval process. β β β β β I was referred to Chris DeSouza, a mortgage broker at Sherwood Group. I had a desire to learn how to invest in real estate and he was keen to help me. I was a completely novice investor, which I expressed to Chris. He advised me to invest in a land development deal that he promised was the βeasiest thing everβ and Iβd be paid out by the developer in 2-3 years maximum at a 16% return. Whatβs worse, he convinced me to use borrowed funds in the form of a HELOC, stating that the developer would cover these costs through semi-annual payments. Well, this has gone on almost 4 years and the company has now gone into Receivership and any payments have stopped. The developer is being accused of fraud! Iβm at serious risk of losing my home now as I invested a significant amount of money. I didnβt understand that there were any real risks and this was never explained or warned by Chris. It was only last year that I discovered he was paid a commission for referring me, which he did not disclose. He is an absolute con-artist! After I gave the developer my money, Chris completely disappeared after having pursued me relentlessly until I invested. I finally got a hold of him a few months ago, but the damage is done. I feel totally scammed. Heβs a douchebag salesman, a liar and has no business providing any investing advice. I wish I never crossed paths with this poor excuse of a person! I was a fool for believing him!
