Do not buy the Black Olives grill. We replaced the igniter in it over a year ago, which failed in short time. We have been unable to obtain a replacement since. Now we have an unusable pellet grill to get rid of. This company is horrible.

I have not with Sherwood, but have since 1984 had the Vermont Casting large wood stove in my house. Good product, paint is chipping off, but what do I expect when heating a 3200sqft house in the woods.

I wrote to Sherwood Industried on 4/1/14, to express my sincere dissatisfaction and frustration with their company. To date, I have not received a response "...In May 2012, my husband and I purchased an Enviro M-55 pellet stove insert from an authorized stove shop in New Hampshire. We used the stove as a supplemental source of heat last winter, while we experimented with different pellets and burn settings. We were very excited, however, to use the stove as our primary heat source this winter. We were enjoying the warmth and comfort of this stove through early February, when the blower began making loud, squeaking, whirring sounds. The stove is still under warranty, so we called our retail dealer for service, and they told us it was likely the convection blower. They came out to look at the unit in mid-February, and confirmed that to be the problem; informing us that the part was on back-order. When I asked for a reasonable expectation for delivery/replacement of the part, they told me they were informed by the manufacturer, Sherwood Industries, that nothing would be available until the end of March. This little shop in New Hampshire informed me they had five (5) customers waiting on this same part; and the part cannot be found on-line anywhere, leading me to believe this problem is widespread. The stove shop advised us not to use the stove without a functioning blower, as the stove could overheat and create a hazard. I considered purchasing a hearth-top fan, but due to the design of the insert, there is no place to position it. I begrudgingly purchased $607.56 worth of home heating on on February 19th, and dialed my calendar ahead for one month. When I called my retail stove shop again, on March 20th to inquire if there had been any development in availability of the part, they were irritated with me. They reiterated that they had no access to the part, and no further word from the manufactured had been conveyed. All they could offer to appease me was, "...end of the month." On March 27th, I had to order another $638.10 worth of home heating oil. Guess who's irritated now??? Today is April 1, and the "...end of month" benchmark I have been hearing for about eight weeks has come and gone. I called my retail store again today, to inquire on the status of the part, and naturally they had no news. To date I have purchased over $1,200 in home heating oil that I wasn't counting on budget-wise, and I have received some of the poorest customer service, response time and accountability of my life. If there are five customers in my retail shop alone, think of all your other customers who have been held hostage this winter, due to your inability to manufacture and deliver a significant part for the units you sell. I don't know many people who can afford to spend hard earned money on a stove and pellets they cannot use, and who must also spend significant other monies on alternative heating. Shame on you, Enviro & Sherwood Industries." I called the company in Canada today to see when this part is going to be available for distributors and to retailers, and to ask why they have been unable to fulfill their orders to meet demand....but the receptionist had no answers. Alas, I am stuck with a $3,800 stove and $1,000 of pellets that I cannot use.

Stove has been nothing but one issue after another... Started with pilot not staying lit then replaced pilot assembly, then soot from hell, finally got it burning correctly, then smell that I can't get rid of... WORST part is no one responds to emails to company. Was installed by dealer that is no longer in business, can't find anyone near that will work on it. No place on their web site to get help and no phone #. I don't think they want to support what they sell and it looks like I will have to replace the stove since I can't get any help.

Do not buy a stove from this company. They lack common sense. My story is I like to keep my stove (Kodiak 1700 insert) maintained and to do this you need to occasionally replace the door/window gaskets. In order to do this you need to remove the door handle. The metal used for the handle is junk - pig iron. You can't take the handle off without breaking the nut and a portion of the handle comes with it. Enviro's solution. Sell you an over-priced replacement the first time. Second time, provide me a handle for free with a wooden piece of junk grab portion. Oh, if I want the nice brass to match the door, it's more money for the blank without the junk wood than it is for the junk wood. Through the dealer they said I can just take the junk wood off and reuse my brass. Well what happens the next time, and the next time and the next time. Junk.

I have an Enviro Pellet Stove. In the 6 years the pellet stove has have over $1,000 in repair parts needed. The stove is very inefficient and costly to operate. The company does not sell parts direct and it seems the resellers stop selling the products after a few years because of the poor quality so everytime the product breaks you need to find a new repair company. Do not buy.

August 2017 I had an Enviro P3 pellet stove installed by a certified technician. Three weeks ago the igniter failed. The stove is wired on its own circuit and there was no power failure in my home. The warranty on electrical parts is two years. My technician ordered a replacement igniter, but he said getting parts from this company can be a long process. Friends and family who own less expensive brands of pellet stoves have experienced no igniter problems with their stoves. Even when I get a replacement igniter I will not trust this stove not to fail again. I spent nearly $4000 on this stove installed. I now consider this lemon an expensive pile of scrap metal.

This is not a fireplace store. It is a manufacturing company. The best way to get parts or the fireplace itself, go or contact its dealers/Distributors. To find one, visit their homepage " enviro.com ". If you call Sherwood, they can help you too with main distributors contact number for technical support and other inquiries.
