★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I didn't actually live in Armstrong, I'd still travel to go to this store. Shepherds is amazing, they always have everything I need and the staff are so great, always helpful. I needed to match up some wood stain on my house, which hadn't been done in years and they had a record of not only the exact colour but when it was last done; 15 years ago! How cool is that....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today there is an old lady wearing glasses, very rude, impolite, and disrespectful. I thought that even the gang boss would not treat his customers like this... We treat this place as a community business and frequent it, but now it makes people feel scared. It seems better to go to Vernon's hardware store, as their service is much better.

Thanks for all the great advice redoing our deck, from stain selection, hardware and specialty cut beams for the pergola and even framing advice from the design department - best little shop in the VALLEY!!

John, Tim, Ryan and especially Brett went so far past above and beyond to find what I needed to get my tin to fix my leaky roof.
I really don't have the words to express how grateful I am for their outstanding service with a smile!

The contractor desk went above and beyond providing quick and thorough answers. They were friendly, accommodating and it was very clear why Shepherd's Home Hardware is so highly rated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to grab some painting supplies for a reno we are doing for my daughter. Everybody in the store was super helpful, they even let us bring our doggo into the store and had treats for him. Everything was easy to find, and the gentleman in the paint department was really nice to my daughter, even let her push the button for the paint shaker, which seams to be the highlight of her day. Nice to support local and the pricing was as good or better then the big box stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't thank the lady working on paint desk enough for her help today (even with her beautifully manicured nails). I bought the wrong colour (too light for what I needed) and she was sooo helpful and I'm very happy with the outcome ❤️ We've also bought the flooring for our house thanks to Cliffs help and it looks fabulous! Keep up the epic service!
