★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What kind of a place bans dog breeds, especially bull dogs like Frenchies or English mastiffs. As well as german shepherds, dobermans, and wrottweilers as well. No thank you. What a waste of gas. Never going back since you ban certain dogs. Messed up

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only campground in north america that doesnt want dogs or kids. My experience with just trying to get a lot in this park makes me wonder why anyone would even stay. I was ready to pay cash for a site and two memberships to golf. Hopefully they are doing well because as a business sense. They lost out in a tremendous opportunity. All because i decided to have a family

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Other than the night we pulled in with the owner taking us to our site and having a camper scream at us to slow down, this place was fantastic. I'm not sure why the one person said they don't like kids, I have six and we had the best time ever. Beautiful park, nice people surrounding us and I have zero complaints! We can't wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister unexpectedly passed away on Thursday and we had a 2 day spot booked but because of the circumstances we called and said we could not make it, and we’re charged anyway for one evening of 101.00 ( son also)
I’m so disgusted and definitely never go there in the future, no compassion whatsoever!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I have a trailer and are now seasonal members at this park and absolutely love it! The owners are very approachable and do their best to make every camper happy and comfortable. We have a dog who enjoys the whole camping experience at Shelter Valley It is family oriented, with safety for all is number one! It is clean, quaint and a hidden gem where it is beautiful and quiet. We wish we moved our trailer here sooner. The golf course is amazing and challenging and is always in top top shape. The owners pride is evident throughout the park and golf course❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband, daughter and I spent 2 days here this week. Beautiful area, well manicured lawns everywhere. Really loved the pond. I enjoyed watching the horses training across the road. Every person greeted us as we walked around. Very friendly quiet park. We will be back.
