Dr Bhamber, nurse practioners, phone and client receptionists are kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. I appalled everyone's hard work and dedication, especially during the challenging months/years of covid.

Doctor Bhamber is a very knowledgeable doctor with great bedside manner and is willing to spend the time with his patients to get to the bottom of what's happening. He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever met. Keep up the great work Dr Bhamber and staff. The staff is also very polite and understanding. Overall this clinic is very prompt. Thank you to all.

We always have a great experience at our doctors office. The administration ladies are always kind, and nurses too! Dr Bhamber is a fabulous doctor, takes his time with each other our family members and helps us resolve each health issue. We are thankful for such a great health care team!

My family and I have really tried to make Dr Bhamber's office work for some time but I think we are finally coming to terms with the fact that the service is just unacceptable. Dr Bhamber does not seem very knowledgeable- perhaps as he does not have many years of experience as a GP? He is quick to send you away for tests or to other resources and overall very impersonal. Most of the receptionists are rude when you finally get through after being on hold for at least 20 minutes. I've had the receptionists provide medical results instead of having a nurse or Dr Bhamber call me. When we have been referred to specialists, paperwork is not sent on time and instead of following up - documents are sent to you to give to the specialists. Receptionists have claimed they have not received results when I've had confirmation from specialists that they have been sent numerous times. I understand there is a pandemic, however getting an appointment takes weeks and you are only slotted in for '3 hour window' phone appointment. I've had multiple appointments like this and Dr Bhamber calls 1,2 even 3 hours past this window. Unacceptable when you would be required to show up on time in person for an appointment! I'm still also not quite sure why in person appointments are not done- many clinics are seeing patients with COVID measures in place. Simply lazy, classless work. Really cannot help but feel like they are taking advantage of the COVID pandemic to not provide the service that people of Shelburne deserve. Such a disappointment for the Dufferin County Family Health Team.

Impossible to get an appointment, and then you get lectured for going else where because you don’t want to wait a month to see the doctor. I find some of the receptionist are unpleasant to deal with….they also give a lot of misleading information. Was told my son couldn’t get his vaccines done sooner and to call public health so I did public health directed me to go to a walk in clinic so we went. When I canceled my appointment I was told we could’ve been squeezed In. Very annoying.

So, I have recently moved from Alberta to Shelburne and I have been looking for a family doctor and there are not many options. With that in mind It's important to feel comfortable with the people providing health care services. The first time I called and asked if I would be able to choose a female doctor the lady told me "absolutely not" as if it's a bad thing to even ask. I apologize to which I continue to just ask if I can have a family doctor to which she explained yes I just can't choose gender, it's been weeks later and I have had no call back and when I call I get put on hold, three times in a row, 10 mins each time, to be hung up on. I'm extremely disappointed with the professionalism of this clinic. I am hoping there is someone at your office that will see this and reach out because I do need a family doctor, or even just a walk in visit but you won't answer your phones or get back to me. I just want the reception at this office to know that it actually is ok to ask for a female Dr. You never know what someone has gone through... so don't make them feel anxious and like they did something wrong for asking. I really hope there is someone here that will reach out, hopefully an actual Dr can help change my opinion about this place, because the reception sure gives you a bad name. I need to get a form filled out and signed and send to a third party. This is for starting a new job. Dropped the form of last Tuesday. Called today to see if it had been filled out and send. The office could not find the form nor did they know if my Doctor had them or what the status was. Then i was told that my Doctor does not fill out any forms without an in person appointment first. My Doctor is away next week and in December as well... So. No appointment available for the next few days. If i had been told when i dropped the forms off that i needed an appointment with the Doc, i could have made it right then and possibly seen him last week. I need to start working... No help from this office. They were supposed to call me back today, it's after hours now and, you guessed it.... no call... I guess i will be calling tomorrow again and the next day and the next Perhaps then my isuue will be dealt with and i can start working...

This office is so unprofessional! I have been a patient here for over 10 years and it was great. The past 7 years or so have been steadily getting worse. You cannot get an appointment to save your life with an actual doctor 9 times out of 10 since covid. The staff when you can see or speak with them are great. I actually love Dr. Chatta but the phone system, appointment availability and hours are deplorable.
