★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I refuse to go anywhere else, Tina can do all my craziest demands, from dying my dark Asian hair to a beautiful beige in one go, then changing it to half grey and half pastel steel blue, then to a peachy copper pink, Tina and Kristy can do it all! Great service, great value. I highly recommend!!

To all my hijabis out there looking for a private place to get a haircut look no further! When you are making the appointment just advise you wear a hijab and they will make sure your appointment is at a time when there are no men. She even took the extra step to lock the door to make sure no randoms walk in! So thoughtful. This is now my go to place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve gotten my hair done twice by Tina, and the first time I had a rather positive experience. The second time was horrible. I came in for a dye job and when the appointment was over I left with tears in my eyes. I was charged $536 (including tip) for a simple colouring!!! A painful overcharge. Her rates are $80 per hour and product charge, so I assumed it would come up to around $260-300. I was dead wrong. It felt like she was extending the process of bleaching to up the charge. Tina took upwards of 5 hours doing my hair. I’ve gotten it done in as little as 2 hours before, and had a similar result. I hate to leave a bad review for a small, independently owned business, but I feel like I was taken advantage of. Despite her skill, I wouldn’t recommend shear madness unless you have a huge hair budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tina knows what she’s doing. My hair wasn’t my exactly what I wanted at first, but Tina had me in a second time and redid it perfectly. I love it! Tina responds quickly over text, and is professional. The space is gorgeous and bright with lots of lovely plants. Would recommend this great local salon.
