★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was fine with my services with Shaw until trying desperately to cancel. I moved to the country and they do not offer services out here, which is the only reason I want to cancel. It’s been two weeks since my first call.. I’ve tried waiting in the queue, I’ve tried asking for a call back but when they call back you wait anyways! There is no option to cancel any other way besides on the phone, which makes it very inconvenient when you have a job and can’t wait hours on hold during the day! When you call and hear you are 1258 in the queue it doesn’t sound good.. either they need more staff or better options to cancel. They don’t even have options to dial certain departments when you call either. I have been waiting on hold for two hours after getting the “call back”. I spoke to someone and they had to transfer me to the cancellation department, same department that I got “disconnected” from last time.. and now I’ll have to call back AGAIN because they’re closed! I JUST WANT TO CANCEL! It’s almost like they do this on purpose so that you can’t cancel! Infuriating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Constantly getting calls from Shaw (844)# - nobody speaks when I pick up and the call ends right away. Probably happened over 50+ times in the past 4-5 months.
I call when back and ask what? What’s going on why are you calling me, what do I need to know? And it’s nothing, they don’t need to call me.
Such a joke, want to block your cable company’s number for harassment, but than you won’t Be able to be reached if they did legitimately need to get ahold of you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shaw is a great company that has given me consistent fast and reliable speeds! Easily the #1 choice in Manitoba hands down if you need a strong internet connection. With the future but out from Rogers will on benefit Shaw and Shaw customers, with a larger company taking over Shaw customers could start to see massive growth in Shaw's already great infrastructure.

I left a message, provided my phone number and moving to and from location.
Hung up & laughed at my attempt.
Next evening, I figured I would try chat.
Low and behold! They had my move all set up. Flicked a switch and I had services. That is one smart answering machine.
