Boathouse began in 1963 as a small business in the Canadian city of St. Catharines, Ontario. Known locally as Arlies, the shop specialized in active lifestyle apparel and footwear, catering to outdoor thrill-seekers and sports enthusiasts alike. Since that time we have expanded our presence in Canada to more than 80 stores nation-wide, now known to most as Boathouse. We continue to sell active lifestyle brands, offering the best in clothing, footwear, accessories and more. In 2008 we launched Boathousestores.com, bringing the Boathouse experience to you at home, or wherever you choose to shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced and on top of that got a sweater with my girlfriend and went back to return it 2 days later because there was a rip on the back of the sleeve that we did not see at the time and would not take it back because the manager was on in and the employ I dealt with said that manager probably won't approve the return anyways. Over all horrible custom serves and horrible policies if the manager has to be in to return items

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this store to purchase some new shoes, the woman helping me was insanely rude and judgy. Every time I’d ask for a different size she’d roll her eyes at me like I was forcing her to do her actual job.
Completely unacceptable customer service! Very disappointed and will NEVER go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manger is rude, if you ever want to return or exchange anything it is impossible. Wanted to return a flannel with the receipt and tag still on (never used) she inhaled the sweater and said they couldn’t do a return..... the policy said otherwise tho ?♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly thought the store itself had great deals, although the lack in customer service. I was waiting for a while on the sale's associate to bring me a size in the Camilla boots I wanted to purchase, and did end up getting them. But when I got home to check, she actually gave me two left boots and one of them was a 7.5 US and the other was a 6 US. I understand this time of year is quite stressful, I work in retail too so I can definitely understand. But I don't think it's hard to tell the difference between sizing or just a matter of the two same side boots. Gives me some perspective on always ensuring my product before trusting and leaving the store knowing that the service truly was an enjoyable experience.
