I wish I could give them less stars. My phones at my office have barely been working all day. It is a challenge to run a business with no phoned and we have now been on hold with Shaw business for 6 hours 17 minutes. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I run a few businesses and all of them are on Shaw Business Smartvoice. I was charged an additional "$500" "reconnection fee" when they didn't set up my credit card information correctly. Said I owed them money when all they have to do is call me and ask for it. Honestly, I got a call, the customer service guy sounded extremely shady and I even thought it was a phishing call...talk about lack of professionalism... When I asked if this $500.00 "reconnection fee" was in my service contract, I was hit with an answer, I paraphase, "oh its on there," well is it $500? "no." So why are you charging me $500?... Their technical support staff, 3 out of the 4 I talked to are knowledgeable about their products at a C- ~ C+ level...For a company this size, with this much capital backing, I expected better. I would give 2 star but their Accounts Receivable manager verbally attacked me over the phone when I called to make a payment haha. So 1 star. ------------- 11/27/2018 Added a new location, was provided the wrong telephone number for our business, advertised the phone number. The phone number belonged to a elderly gentleman. All of our client calls went to the wrong location for the first few weeks... You'd think I learn not to deal with Shaw Business SmartVoice.

I would like to say thank you for your service. We had to unfortunately cancel our business services with Shaw Business. Not only was John awesome and informative (you should consider him as a trainer, great service) but Dawn in the loyalty cancellation department was helpful and great to deal with. Thank you.

BE CAREFUL! Shaw cable has some SERIOUS SECURITY ISSUES that they are pretending do not exist. Someone hacked into the Shaw Gateways Portals of 3 local businesses in our complex on the 6400 block of Surrey. The perpetrator was able to log-in to all 3 businesses via Shaw Portal/Gateways and redirect the business phone lines to a 3rd party. They then ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts, equipment and tools from various suppliers around the lower mainland using the owners names that were also obtained through hacked Shaw Cable accounts. Unaware they were picking up stolen good, when the hired courier companies showed up to pick up the stolen goods a call was placed to the businesses to confirm the orders. Because the calls were now being forwarded to the third party number they received the call and of course authorized the sale... or in this case the theft. Now the 3 local businesses are left absorbing the loss and Shaw Cable is denying any of it happened. Needless to say Telus is scheduled to install their equipment and services next week to all 3 businesses. If you have small business account with Shaw I would strongly suggest changing to Telus immediately. Do a Google Search for Shaw cable security issues and you will see for your self that Shaw is obviously trying to cover up this major security issue. Most of the google pages have been conveniently rerouted back to Shaw Cable Technical Service Page but there are still some articles that have slipped through the their weak security measures.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Tragic service. They don't keep their promises, absolutely no communication between staff. Internet disconnected many times . TV was missing channels and it was always on and off. Technicians took DAYS to respond to my problems. My service was disconnected multiple times in two months.They then promised to pay back the service charges I payed, but guess what...that never happened. In 2014 I cancelled my service, returned the equipment, cleared my bill, and switched to Telus. So far I haven't had a single issue with Telus. Recently, I found out that Shaw put a bill in my credit history that was already taken care of. Save yourself the headache and stay away from Shaw.

Customer service is terrible. Wait times are long, and service is inconsistent. Services are expensive for what you get. If there was ANY real competition in Canada these guys would be out of business - or would seriously have to pick up their game! I had to call them again today - 3 months later. I was simply trying to find out if they wanted some networking equipment returned, but unfortunately I didn't know the account number the equipment was associated with. This was such a problem for them that they needed to transfer me, and in doing so hung up on me. This happened twice this morning!

How does this company have anything more than one star. This has literally been the most frustrating experience - terrible customer service - terrible platforms. If you're looking for business services steer clear of Shaw - Telus and Rogers are by far more user friendly with customer service that actually tries to earn your business.

We can put a man on the moon in 4.5 days , Why does it take SHAW 6 to 8 weeks to repair a business line?.... they come in take a look around , tell you they will call the next day but you never hear back and every time you call in your on hold for over an hour. With all their new updates, why can't they concentrate on giving better service. I would go to anybody else , if I could. I wouldn't go with Shaw again. I might purchase a set of walkie talkies because they would work better than anything Shaw has to offer
