β β β β β Our family have been eating here regularly for 10+ years. Our go to place for Shanghai style meals. Favourite dish is snow pea tips and garlic. Pot stickers are hand made and out standing. Good for groups of all sizes and families.

β β β β β Second time in this restaurant. Honestly the first time impression wasn't that bad. With a bit expectation, then the 2nd time visit is very disappointing. Overall food is salty, taste not really Shanghai. Feel like a North American type Chinese food more. Give 2 stars but will probably not try again.

β β β β β Friendly and welcoming. Nice dim sum menu. We had Turnip Cakes (oh man! Julienned seasoned turnips wrapped in super flaky croissant type dough!!) Pan Fried Chive Cakes, Boiled Pork Dumplings in a delightful broth and Spicy Seafood Soup - way too much food, but leftovers are always good!

β β β β β This is the place where we always go for shanghai dim sum. Turnip cakes, sticky rice roll and soya milk are the must try items. Although the XLB is not the best in town but it's worth to try too. Went there many times and food quality is consistent. Good service and the waitresses are very attentive. It would be better if the manager can improve his communication skills.

β β β β β Authentic Chinese Food with huge portions. Had dinner with 5 family members but portions could have fed 10 of us. Every dish is cooked upon order. Ordered tofu with seafood, pork knuckles with vegetables, special fried noodles, xo fried rice and tomato soup with salted vegetables. On hindsight, should have ordered only one less dish. Worth a visit if you want good Chinese food near Holiday Inn Express Hotel.

β β β β β Location is good if you are staying in the hotels nearby. There are not much restaurants around if you do not drive.
There are a good variety to choose from and they are all nicely made.
Portion is decent but not big for the price. If you want value for money, they are not as good as other Chinese restaurants around Central Richmond.

Kids loves Shanghai steam bun, meat stired with sticky rice , meanwhile beef and bean curve soup . Very suitable for family and friends gathering. Try here if you love to taste Shanghai cuisine .
