★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply an incredible experience: the hike in, the cabin, the escape from everything, the people you meet, the people that run the place and feed you, the surrounding hikes, mountains, and lakes, the hike out. We never hated leaving a place more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing!! The cabins are clean and cozy, the showers always have hot water and the food is incredible. The staff treat you like family. This is back country hiking at its best. I've been 4 times and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys truly getting away from it all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very disappointed with how they treated and responded to a trip cancellation in light of the Covid symptoms with my young daughter. In good conscious and as an RN we could not make our reservation due to having symptoms, which we had booked and paid for many months ago hoping to have a few days away from work and the craziness. They finally called back 3 days later! and said the only thing they could do was move the trip (must use within 8 days timeframe) and there would be no refund if not used. Unbelievable!! I cannot even express my disappointment and displeasure with this establishment. Please don't support places that don't exhibit understanding and support to their guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a 14km walk in with about 450m elevation gain. We did it 5 hrs with 3 kids under 10 (downhill return to the car was about 4 hrs). The area is beautiful, and the lodge itself and cabins are very nice. Great hikes nearby, I’d suggest coming for at least 3 nights. The staff were very good and made the whole trip perfect. Great job!
