★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to speak to security about getting a new SGI Envelope for a document I need to send back to them in the archives devision. Security swing doors were open but the man behind the desk replied sorry we are not open you need to go next door. I went With my document in hand ready to ask for an envelope and the recepinest I had scolded me for Not renewing my licence for the past 5 years and asked me if it been revived because of a durability then she looked at my file and at the papers I was holding and said to me sorry what you need we can not help you here. Neither section allowed me to speak up and ask if they had a SGI PREPAID ENVELOPE? They both just passed me off saying they could not help me go to another SGI building???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my son who has an Ontario learners drivers license went to SGI to exchange the license for a SK learners driving license. The lady @ window 12 (3PM) asked for two photo IDs. My son showed Ontario Driving License and Ontario Health Card (Which is also a government photo ID unlike Saskatchewan). The lady refused to recognize the Ontario Health Card as a photo ID and asked for my son's passport which is expired. It means that my son cannot get a Saskatchewan learner's driving license unless he makes a new passport first which would take a couple of months. SGI needs to understand that bullying citizens like that is only presenting them as a third rated government office just like any government office of a third world country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was insured with SGI on my home and last year my home was damaged by hail. They refused to repair all of the damage and left me with thousands in repairs out of pocket. They were the cheapest policy I could get from my insurance broker, I guess you get what you pay for. Do NOT insure with SGI if you want peace of mind or to be looked after should something happen to your home or vehicle. Buyer beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its government what else can you say. They give you a "rebate" and then jack up the prices. Sask is a comunist run province it woukd be nice to have a choice besides sask power sasktel sgi sask energy yadda yadda. They run it and we take it hahaha

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re not at fault don’t accept the first amount they offer you, argue for more. They will try and rip you off. Also, my adjuster wasn’t very helpful and hard to get ahold of.
