B	Brett Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Disappointed" would be an understatement. I had been wanting to go to Avenue for a while now and was excited to try the food there. After booking the reservation we were informed that there would be an 18% gratuity added to our bills. I am fine with tipping, and I'm fine with an 18% tip if the service is actually worth it. In this case, it was not. Numerous times our table wondered where our server was as she had not been around in a long time. Our server also ID'd our table and said "I could go ask at the front door but I'm just too lazy". I don't mind having to show proof of vaccination at the door as well as my ID to get drinks, I just don't want to hear that come out of my server's mouth. With a forced 18% tip, I don't expect the royal treatment but I do expect at least average service. The drinks and the starter were very good. If I would have had to guess, I would have assumed our meals would be just as good. I would be wrong. The food was very bland and not to my expectations of what a nice restaurant would serve. Out of our party of six, one person who ordered the steak liked their meal. With a limited menu, I would think that they would have perfected each dish and it wouldn't matter what you ordered, your meal would be good. In fact, it would be more difficult to find an entrée that was properly made on their menu.

We order the pork belly press every time, and I think about it between visits. I also think about the mermaid wallpaper a lot, because it's just so beautiful.

While it's hard to pick favorites from the menu, the tuna tataki was surprising in the best possible way. The cocktails were incredible in presentation & flavour. The feature cocktail was creative with fennel & executed perfectly. Thanks for a great night- will definitely be back!

Staff even accommodated my allergies and made cocktails that originally had vodka in it. Overall 10/10 experience highly recommend this place for a cute date night or even just a night out by yourself

My sisters and I (party of 3) ordered 5 cocktails each, beef tartare (x3) and the Brie to share. We have never (even in Montreal) ordered seconds, if not THIRDS, or as many cocktails in one sitting. This is THE place to be in Regina. 10/10 would recommend and come back. Thank you to the entire staff at Avenue, for making our night❤️
R	Russell Nemetchek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I had supper here and ordered the Beef Wellington and Beef Tartare. We had some issues with the waitress at the start. But the food made up for it and the manager gave us a Creme Brûlée dessert as a token for the issues we had. The other waiters/waitresses all appeared to be on top of servicing their tables. We had never tried all three dishes they served us, but the Beef Wellington was very tasty and the crust was flaky and buttery. As this was our first Beef Tartare we did not expect we would enjoy the dish, but the dish was one of the best foods I have ever tried. The seasoning was amazing and the bread was grilled to be slightly burnt to blend perfectly with the meat and seasoning. This is a must try dish*. The Creme Brûlée was also delicious and we could have not asked for a better dessert to top it all off with. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend you visit if you find yourself in Regina.
