20Ten City Eatery - Regina

Sooooo the food was very well presented. A little over done. But our server was on point. Alone on a Friday night and did a great job. We didn’t catch her name but she was brilliant. I hope her boss sees this and gives her praise. Fri aug 20. It was still delicious and we had a great evening.

I was thoroughly underwhelmed and unimpressed with this restaurant. We made a reservation, assuming a 4 top table would be reserved for us, but when we arrived we were disappointed as there was only lounge type patio chairs available, and no table reserved. These tables are very uncomfortable to sit at, don't really allow you to enjoy the view, and are just cheap plastic patio furniture; everybody who was seated at one of these was asking to move. From the moment we arrived, the night continuously spiraled downhill. It took over 30 minutes to get out first round of drinks, and over an hour before our appetizers arrived. The hostess spilt a drink on us, and by the time our food came it was cold, and very bland. From the descriptions on the menu, and especially for the prices, I expected very flavourful good food. But again, was very let down. We had 2 orders of the mussels, and both dishes had 4-5 unopened shells in them, and the mussels themselves were clearly not cooked in the sauce they were presented in, and just tasted like salt water. I couldn't even finish my steak as I couldn't chew through the gristle...I could go on about the food for quite a while. The restaurant was clearly training new staff and we watched as our orders were brought to multiple other tables, then back to the bar to figure out where they were supposed to go before coming to us. Our server was not knowledgable about the menu at all and had to "go check" on multiple things, but then would never return to tell us the answer. It was just horrible. The server was embarrassed of how poorly our night was going and was very apologetic, stating that she was just going to "stop trying," and even told us that she asked her manager to come apologize to us. However we got no apology, and no compensation on the bill, which was just over $200. We were very excited to try this restaurant, and to enjoy the view, but weren't even able to do that because of where we were seated. Lower your expectations before dining here and proceed with caution. 10/10 would not recommend.

Dining at this establishment was an enchanting experience. I found a few issues here, but none of which were within the control of the employees. The fellow diners here were extremely rude towards the servers and waitresses. Some even got offended because they mistook the hostess for a waitress, then complained when she wouldn’t serve them. Now to give credit where it is due, the team persevered and sent their dishes out. The food itself was absolutely amazing. I had the opportunity to try their chicken Alfredo. The sauce was creamy, perfectly seasoned, and coated the dish well. The garnishing was astoundingly beautiful as well, but the most credit is to be given to the flavour. I urge anyone and everyone to try this place at least once in their life.

I went to this restaurant with high expectations for a great evening. What my girlfriend and I ended with was such an unsatisfying experience. Well, from the start, they had our reservation messed up and had us waiting for a table even though we called in. The staff then moved us in an annoyed and hurried rush from our initial table with a wonderful view to one tucked far away in the corner with arguably the worst view from the rooftop. We were served warm glasses of water on a particularly hot evening. We were not served right away either and had to wait almost a half hour before having our orders taken, all the while watching our server tend to other tables who showed up well after we did. Our food took a concerning amount of time, and it had gotten dark by the time our food came. Our appetizer did not even arrive before our entrees did as they didn’t even put it in together with our order to begin with, apparently. On top of all of that, try cutting a steak on a very uneven, wiggly table. It’s almost comical! Our server was still quite professional with serving us, but I didn’t feel a personal connection with him; it didn’t seem like he was SERVING us, rather just there to take our plates away (that is, whenever he shows up to our table, once in a blue moon). There was no compensation for the sub-optimal experience we had that night. Only an expensive bill that was not really seeming worth the price. I really wanted to like 20ten, I really did. Unfortunately this night has just left a bad impression on myself and my girlfriend. Please, 20ten team, consider our complaints and adjust your service accordingly for your future service. I’m happy for those who loved their dining experiences here—I just wish we had could have shared the same outlook. I stand firm with my one star review.

Had am amazing experience for my friends birthday. One person in our group was vegan and he was taken care of. They have the best seafood. I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely top marks for 20Ten City Eatery. The ambience and atmosphere was outstanding, the service was fantastic, and the food was first class. The quality, presentation, creativity, and flavour of each of the dishes were exceptional. There was a lot of thoughts put into each of the plates. 20Ten City offers second to none, the finest dining experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent food; orders of mussels and calamari for appetizers were done to the correct tenderness and were packing flavour. Main courses and desserts did not disappoint, with perfect portions, correctly cooked and satisfying. Appreciated the variety of drinks available, with amazing aromas and complex profiles. Service was good; knowledgeable, polite and attentive. Great restaurant for a night out!

Great crab cake! Good service. I ordered beef for main dish, the meat with no exaggeration was more than 90% fat. I had to dig and keep searching for a piece of meat to eat. Definitely overpriced.
