★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hiking area that's easily accessible from road side, or by the walking path from the park.
Total hike time for the entire loop is approx 1 hour, when you include stopping for photos. The lower portion is approx 40 minutes. Views of the rapids start within 10 minutes of hiking.
There are a couple steep sections, and the rocks are worn / uneven, so sturdy footwear is required. There is a picnic table close to the last Lookout.
A reminder that the river rapids are very dangerous at all flow rates, and even though some eddy pools may look safe. There's strong currents underneath the surface. Swimming is prohibited, and beware of slippery rocks.
