They were very condescending and talked down to you. The only good thing was that it wasn’t too busy, but thats probably because they rush everyone out the door without actually helping.
S	Shay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to renew my health card. Brought a T4 slip as my proof of residency because it said that was a valid document online. Was told it wasn't good enough and a Notice of Assessment was preferred. Went in the next day with a Notice of Assessment and was told it wasn't good enough because it didn't have my first name, only my middle and last names (I don't go by my first name anywhere) and that it had to match my old health card and Canadian passport exactly. Was told to go to the bank and get proof of residency there. Went back with my bank account profile and was told, "You can't just go to the bank and have stuff printed out for you, it doesn't work like that." Okay... I ask them if there's anything else I can do since I went paperless with my bank and I don't get bank statements by mail. They call a number. The person on the other line says I can use my Notice of Assessment after all! Huh. All that trouble for nothing.
