Horrible service I am soon expecting my baby as a single mother of 2 and 3rd coming. I applied almost month now no response back yet just that its still in review. they don't care if someone would get homeless because of them can't pay diapers,groceries and formulas for 2 children. They like stealing money from people but when comes to paying the person they try hard not to pay even if the persons life depended on it. Customer service agents are also mean they speak rudely.

Every interaction I have had with the people that work in this office has been above what I expected. I have been helped with dignity and a sense of truly someone that wanted to help. I would give them more stars but it only go's to five.

I find this Service Canada informative, helpful, quick as they can get you in, they do. Everything has a waiting time now, especially phones so people need to give a break to people going to work everyday and helping we people that can't figure things completely. I found it to be very helpful and staff very nice. :)

We visited this office to replace my husbands SIN card. As soon as we entered the doors we were greeted and offered assistance. While my husband was being helped, I watched how the staff interacted with other people coming in. Each person was treated with kindness and respect. Regardless of what they needed, a staff member was assigned to them to work through what they needed. I was so encouraged to see the efficiency of this agency.

staff has no information of what they are doing, it is so sad to see some staff being paid these jobs and they are not capable of what they are doing! amazed how taxpayers are paying taxes to sustain some highly paid jobs with lots of benefits. please avoid this office instructions and rather go to canada.ca we had completely wrong and time wasting information regarding Canadian passport. Shame on employees who think to know everything but they do not know what they are doing.

i was just in the building trying to apply for Ei as the service Canada phone line is too busy/wont help, I'm currently without a phone so I'm not able to receive calls or anything of the sorts, I tried doing the online application many times for it to tell me to come into the physical location. Ellen was the lady who "helped" me. I've never felt so disrespected by a government worker in my entire life, Ellen wouldn't listen to the questions I had, she explained how to navigate the website to me like I was a child ( I work in I.T so i know how to navigate a website) after I told her multiple times between her shushing of me that i had already done this and the website told me to come here. I'm extremely disappointed in the service and will be driving to the city to get some actual help with this

Even a one star is too much for the service my family received from Ellen on Friday, May 20. We booked an appointment to submit a couple of passport applications. We traveled from Calgary to do so. What should have been a courteous, professional interaction turned into a session of condescending comments and a complete void of professionalism from Ellen the servant. We were even told that it was the fault of people from Calgary as to why Central Albertans were having a difficult time getting appointments at the office. Nice way to set the tone Ellen. That was just the beginning. Every comment or question we made was seen as an opportunity to talk down to us - it was outrageous!! I will be looking into a formal complaint with Service Canada on this lady who would be better suited in a career where absolutely no customer facing interactions exist. If you go to the office and Ellen is your servant, ask for someone else. Only this way will she be made scarce.
