When there are 75+ cars on line you think they would open a second lane. Nope you get to stay on line for over 90 minutes. Thankfully on our last trip it was a nice day so we could get out of the car to stretch out legs.

Travelling to Montreal by train this is the third time. This is the second time i had to open my luggage with all the other passengers i was picked again. It must be because i am aussie in the cold winter. The officer Furphy was very polite and professional. So when i return to Montreal again i will be searched again i bet on that. Unless i go by air. An aussie following the Hab's.

The US border was more polite and respectful than the Canadian one this day. I'm a french imigrant in Canada, and they told me that was impossible to them to collect my biometric datas for no valable reason. They didn't know why, but they can't did it. And one of the guy i had to speak was a pure douchebag, talking to me like i was retarded. Very professionnal. 6am to 10am for nothing, expept giving my finger prints and photo to the FBI database when i crossed the US border.

We had a particularly poor experience at this border crossing. After routine questioning, the agent asked us to pull over and park. He then ordered us out of the car and proceeded to unceremoniously rip apart all of our baggage for unknown reasons. He even had a friend come over and join him (we had a lot of bags). After an hour of standing out and watching our clothing get strewn over the pavement (did I mention it was 45º F?) , he goes inside and says we can pack up and go. And that was that. Guess it was a slow day. You'll probably be better off by the Thruway crossing.

Rude guards who damaged my trunk, lost my wheel lock key. I crossed the border at this location about a month ago, and for one reason or another, they decided a search of my car was warranted. Ok, whatever, I respect borders and understand that's always a possibility. But they made a complete mess of my trunk, moved and damaged panels, and now my wheel lock key, which never leaves my trunk, is missing. It cost me $80 to get my wheel locks removed and its going to cost another $20 to buy new ones. They asked me questions about every single item, including an empty USPS box and a bottle of laundry detergent. I've crossed the Canadian border many times before without issue, until now. The people at this station have some aggression issues or something. If you want to cross, go to another station nearby.

Visited around 4PM on a Monday. No line, quick process and the Canadian Border Agent was very friendly. After answering the usual questions, we were on our way. The views after crossing into Canada are very nice compared to the main crossing via I-87. I'd recommend taking this route if you wish to get a glimpse of the Canadian countryside.

Normally we pass through this border without issue. This time it was about an hour and a half wait. People were out of their car throwing a football around to pass the time. Only one person on duty I guess.
