About Sentimental Journey Antiques
The building itself, steeped in area history, is reason enough to stop by. Built in 1909 as a hardware store by Charles Marshall, the upper storey served Nanton as a meeting and social hall for local lodges and other groups. Purchased in1935 by William S. Keeley, who expanded the stores range of goods and converted the top floor into apartments, the newly-renamed Keeley Building soon found itself pressed into wartime service as a residence for officers assigned to the nearby aircrew training base.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place - an eclectic mix of memorabilia, beautiful old furniture, and oddball items that may bring back childhood memories. Found some china plates and teacups at a reasonable price that completed an old discontinued set for us. Helps to visit often as there are occasional drastic price drops (sometimes up to tenfold) on items that have been in the store for a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This antique shop keeps going and going. Just when you think you've seen it all, you discover another room or corner or nook ,or FLOOR to explore! the building has a neat history too, full of old apartments now turned into showrooms. It's like a museum where you can purchase the displays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is everything from dishes to jewelry, to clothes, to indoor and outdoor furniture and everything in between. 3 full floors including the basement. Also stuff outside in the back yard. Sometimes they barter and sometimes they don't. I don't buy here often but I do like to browse through the store. I think prices are quite high here. Beware of what you are buying and do your research so you don't overpay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The biggest and most varied antique store in Nanton. You never know what you will find. Make sure you check out both the upper floor and the basement. It is always an adventure looking through the shop and the prices are mostly reasonable for antiques.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tons of inventory but prices on most things are way too high. They also have a mix of authentic and reproduction items, which they don’t label as reproductions. If you don’t know your stuff you’re liable to overpay here. Still, I was impressed with some of the things they had, and the old building it’s housed in has a ton of character.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place one must go and experience when in Nanton! There is a wide variety of antiques to be discovered in this historic building. personally, I loved the old hardwood floors! Check out all of the rooms upstairs, ask about the history of the building….you will not be disappointed!
