The man running this business is super nice and the store has alot of nice things in mint condition. In my opinion this is the best place to get antiques in town

Great little antique shop in the gorgeous town of Okotoks. This place is very well organized and they have great finds. It was very hot when we were there and the kind gentleman offered us a nice cold bottle of water. Loved it!

Showed up on site to 2 grumpy old timers that told us that children under 12 were not allowed in. We've had our even younger kids in before a couple years back with no problem. I get that a business can make rules for their stores. My kids are very well behaved and we have been in many antique stores before. This is not a family store and signs should be in place so kids can understand they are second class citizens to these store owners. I will never come to this store again and I will never recommend this store to anyone. Not family friendly at all.

Extremely friendly owner, had my item bagged and ready to go as I continued to browse. The selection is very unique I got a beautiful retro dial phone for an amazing price. The exterior and interior look super cool like a medieval church. As for the comments in the review about the place not allowing kids, this is a plus for me, kids around antiques always gave me massive anxiety. Would definitely visit again when I am in town

Didn’t even get a chance to get up to the door before an elderly man barked at my daughter and I that β€œNo children under 12 were allowed in the store”. He explained that this was his covid rule and that β€œkids don’t behave properly and touch everything” . This has never been the case with our daughter, she loves hunting for β€œtreasures” and like most children who are taught not to touch things, respects her surroundings. This is the first place I’ve ever been in since covid started that has banned children of certain age, which is weird because I see more adults touching their faces and touching everything in stores, rather than kids under 12. Since I wasn’t going to abandon her just to go look inside, and I certainly didn’t feel like giving any of my money to a place who was so selective of who comes in there, we went across the street to an antique store that was more than welcoming to children of all ages and encouraged her to go check the place out. I highly recommend finding alternative places if you have children or families that enjoy antiquing together as all you’ll find here is an unwelcoming business owner who clearly doesn’t like children ... or business. This is probably the first church to ever turn away children ... or money .

They turned us away because I was with a child under 12 years old. They suggested she stay outside. I am not about to leave a child alone, outside with strangers, especially ones so unfriendly to children. I would like to teach my child a love for history and antiques, but experiences like this don't help. I refuse to give my business to people like this.
