★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice lady, but can't deal with all hair types. I specified I have very curly hair and don't like it straight so she washed it, roughly blewdry it with extreme heat, and ran her fingers through the curls, making my hair a frizzy mess. 1. She should have known heat is damaging to curly hair and 2. why would you run your fingers thorugh curls and then say "your hair isn't curly, it's frizzy". Of course if you tear apart the curls it'll turn frizzy! She then went one step further and straightened my hair (without a heat protectant serum) even though I had told her I don't like it straight, further inflicting heat damage. I should have stopped her there but I thought she probably knows what's best. I was very wrong. It's been 3 washes since I got my haircut (simple layers) and my natural curls haven't recovered from the heat damage. Some pieces refuse to curl and others are an awkward mix between curly and straight. Definitely avoid this place if you have anything other than straight hair.
