Drove by and saw their lunch special. Can't resist to go in and try. I am glad I did. Ordered chicken inasal and it did not disappoint. Comes with rice and salad and the grilled chicken. Not a huge amount of food but just right amount for the money. I would say it's a solid 5 stars since it's only $7.50 for this lunch special. Credit cards friendly and street parking wasn't too bad. Highly recommended and definitely would go back again if I m in the area.

Just awesome. The food here is delicious, and at an affordable price for their lunch special. They also have some nice desserts. Take out is nice to bring to the park across the street, with some tables. Food is good, would recommend checking this place out.

SERVICE: 5/5 We went here in a party of 11 and our waitress handled us gracefully. We also did not wait too long for our food even though we ordered a lot. They were also nice to do us a favor hiding a birthday cake in their fridge! FOOD: 4.5 Their SISIG is the best for me. It's very different from other Filipino restaurants. It has a very unique crunch to it that doesnt go away even after the egg being mixed in. I would give a 5/5 if the rice didn't taste weird for me. AMBIENCE: 3/5 Hapag is a small restaurant that gives you at-home vibes. From the 2hr+ that we stayed there, I never saw an empty table which I believe attests to how good is the food there. My only criticism is that the tables and floor need scrubbing. I got grease on my pants when my leg accidentally touch the under of the table.

Awesome hole in the wall. Crispy Pata is a MUST. Lumpia is a MUST. Good, homestyle cooking for ridiculously reasonable prices. We always order a couple extra BBQ pork or chicken meal combos. They're perfect lunches the next day with rice and veg and grilled meat for like $7-8. So happy they survived all the pandemic mess, there's no other place like this around here.

I've ordered takeout from this place a few times and have always enjoyed it! Simple but delicious Filipino cuisine. I recently tried their halo halo and it might be my go-to place for halo halo now! Always friendly service and consistent quality. FYI: they can get pretty busy!

Nice clean restaurant. Friendly servers. Tried the BBQ Pork and BBQ Chicken. Both very tasty. Included now with these meals is slaw, (Coleslaw) which is also good. Meal also includes rice and sweet pickled cucumbers.

You had me at the Sizzling Sisig. Amazing taste with just the right amount of crunch. The Lumpia Shanghai (pork & shrimp spring rolls) were very crispy. We had the small serving and it was just perfect for the two of us. Everyone talked about how good the Pork BBQ Skewers were. Well ... now you can’t come here and then not try it. Right? They weren’t wrong. Perfectly marinated and barbecued. The pork was very moist and tasty. Not dry like some of the places we’ve been to. It’s a must order when you’re here. The Garlic Annatto Rice had just the right amount of softness. Complimented the Sisig very nicely. The large order is good for four people. We came here thinking the place was opened for dine-in. To our surprise ... it was not. Opened for take-outs only. All the safety protocols were in place including non contact payment.

Oh my!! Should have come here earlier. My Filipino visitors from Seattle insisted I bring them here as their friends in Seattle highly recommended this rather nondescript eatery - and it was such a great recommendation. I really don’t know much about Filipino food but my Filipino host does and ordered the Sisig which they proclaimed as being excellent - both in taste as well as the required texture and crunchiness. Of course also ordered the large crispy Pata which was ever so good - freshly made, super crunchy skin and just the right flavoured meat. Have had too many hard, chewy not-really-crispy pata skin on pork that’s like salty jerky that I really enjoyed this perfectly cooked pride of Filipino food! The Lumpiang was nothing special but the skewers were smoky goodness and I wish we had saved some room for dessert - which looked so tempting but we just couldn’t manage it. Too bad as I’m sure they’re gonna be as good as the meal we had. Recommend Hapag if you want a good intro to Filipino food! You won’t go wrong here. And oh, didn’t take more pictures as we resorted to eating with our fingers - as befit eating Filipino food - and couldn’t much use my phone!
