Helpful staff, friendly. Tried to accommodate, but the whims of a toddler... Very challenging and they were up for it.

Had my fist 3D sculpture printed/made here. I love it. The experience was amazing as well. Nice store. Could be cheaper a bit but hey it's a new technology and you can't get it at many other places.

I decided to take my wife to get us "printed" for Valentines day and what a great experience it was. I highly recommend Self Traits as a very unique gift or even to immortalize yourself!

Incredibly poor experience. Made an appointment with my daughters for a gift for their mom. Was told we'd discuss the price for three people when I come to the studio. Upon arrival the girl at the front desk/photographer seemed to have no time for us and she seemed put out that we had arrived. All three of us commented about that after the session and my daughters were surprised by her attitude. I was then advised that the price for all three of us was simply triple the single price. Had I known this up front I would have reconsidered. The photo was taken and the the girl could not seem to get us out of the building fast enough. I later emailed the studio manager about this but her response (paraphrased) was more or less "it is what it is." I finally received an email last week that the figure was ready to be picked up and advised they were closed on Mondays. On the Wednesday of that week I checked their web site to confirm they were open, headed across town to their door only to find they were closed for a special function. No web site update they were closed that day, no heads up email the studio was closed, nothing. Please save yourself grief check out other 3D studios in Toronto. This one is horribly run and they only care about your money, not you.

Not pleased with the product for what we paid. First time I went to pick it up it was broken. 2nd time appeared to be broken but was told just a seem although it wasn't aligned and the engineer agreed with me but the sales person tried to say it was the way it should be. It took two additional months for them to get me the product. They did finally end up hand delivering but after a lot of back and forth effort. We originally went in for the 5" but were pushed towards the 6" as we're told better detail, but we really weren't impressed with the end product. And at the end of it all, it broke again just prior to our wedding. Poor craftsmanship and poor customer service. Not worth what we spent.

We heard about Selftraits through a promotional booth they had at the CNE. We followed them on instagram and thought it would be an amazing idea to use a 3D printing of us for our wedding cake topper. Selftraits offers a lot of promos, so we waited until the next one to book an appointment. We went to the studio where they explained everything we needed to do. Basically, it’s just like posing for a photograph, only you are surrounded by cameras at every angle in order to get the 3D effect. We took a bunch of shots and then picked the one we liked the best to be molded into our personal figurine. The turnaround time was about a week and there were many different sizes of figurines we could have gotten. They even make personalized busts! It was a super fun bonding experience for us, and on our wedding day we received so many compliments on it because it was so unique, and one of a kind. It’s a special keepsake for us that will evoke many memories of our wedding day whenever we look at it. We’re considering updating it every ten years to see how we have changed too. It’s definitely a cool experience worth checking out, and they would make amazing gifts.

So happy with my choice to come here. We booked our session for a cake topper. The online tool is super convenient and gives you a variety of available dates and time. Went in Saturday morning. We were immediately greeted by Waleed. He showed us all our options and patiently waited for us to make a decision. We filled in our paper work. He explained the process to us and we stepped into this futuristic dome. Three seconds and the pictures were done! We did a few poses to pick the best one we liked. And that’s it! As promised, 2 weeks later, I had an email saying it was ready for pick up. Scheduled an appointment and went in, it was beautiful!! So realistic and amazing. Not sharing a photo of it until our wedding, but will definitely put that here once that’s done! So happy with the service and quality, highly recommend!

This is our third year getting selftraits of our son. They make the best gift for family- especially grandparents! As long as selftraits stays within driving distance we will be returning annual customers. The staff are all very professional and very accommodating. Joe and Jess in particular have gone above and beyond to ensure we are happy with the pose and the print. See you next year!
