★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FALSE ADVERTISING. Extremely disappointed. After applying to an advertisement for a 2 bedroom, dog friendly apartment we received a call saying our application was approved, only to receive a call 20 minutes later to inform us that the apartment does not allow dogs and our application approval was reneged. Upon visiting the office of Select Real Estate I was spoken to in a condescending manner and told they were not aware of the bylaws of the building advertised and there was nothing they could do. Our application specified we had a small dog and the advertisement clearly stated that the rental is dog friendly. Upon requesting contact information for the Strata in question, I was told I would receive a call back.
