★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner does not know how to care for the dogs. He informed me how my dog was annoying and wouldn't stop whining and barking, and that he used shock-collars to make them stop. He even demonstrated how to yell "shutup" numerous times. I think they need to close this place down, he does not know how to care for the animals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldn't recommend if your dog has separation anxiety. I left my dog here for four nights. Received texts about how whiny my dog is, but that she is a pleasure, has now been "broken", and that she has been "scolded" for whining.
When I went to pick up my dog, the owner told me how he hates dogs that whine, and that he used the trainer collar (shock collar) on her for a full day, and that every time she would whine, he would yell "shutup" and shock her. He even demonstrated how to yell "shutup" numerous times for me. When he went to get her out of the cage, her whole body was shaking, her tail was high between her legs, and she was quietly whimpering. This is highly unusual behaviour for my dog, she LOVES all people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dogs spent 2.5weeks at Secret Creek Kennels. My dogs and I spent a good hour with Jay at his property prior to sending my dogs there. We discussed dogs, behavior and the way he manages them. He showed us around the property. He sent videos and texts while we were away to keep us up to date. My dogs are young, they need a firm but kind approach. When I picked them up, their nails were clipped, they were bathed, beds were washed and they were happy. I would send my dogs there again.
