While it has changed owners the new ones are just as welcoming as the last owner. My one concern is the shortage of seating and the need for wall decor. Coffee is always just right.

Z	Zachary Grant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say this was one of my most pleasurable experiences at a coffee shop ever. Angela was one of the sweetest and kindest person I have ever interacted with. She knew the majority of the customers in the shop by name and was an absolute delight. One of the most striking things to me was the way she treated the less fortunate. There was a homeless gentleman sitting in the restaurant she she knew him by name and offered him some hot water while I was there. If everyone was this kind to humanity the world would be a better place. From now on I will make the extra drive downtown just to support this second cup. All in all Angela made my experience extremely pleasurable and it couldn’t go un noted. Zachary
M	Mackenzie Moir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has had a change of ownership (I believe) in the last year or so, and it is very much welcome. The woman who currently manages some of the business, and regularly runs the place first thing in the AM, (you know who you are!!! :D) has taken the time to get to know me on a first name basis. She is a morning joy to speak to, and really tries to get to know her regulars and keep up with what is going on in their lives. She even makes an effort to give me refills if I go multiple times in a day. This is as close as it gets to having an involved neighborhood coffee shop that knows its customers, which is impressive considering it's in a very busy spot in the city. The coffee quality if excellent. I don't usually get any food here, but it looks to be the standard Second Cup fare. I highly recommend you make this Second Cup your regular coffee spot, you'll feel welcome every time.
G	George David on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve had the Chai tea(hot and cold), I’ve had lattes and I drink a lot of the various coffee blends. I’ve never had a complaint. Friendly staff from the boss lady on down. Clean, great location with a lot of regular clientele.

E	Elle Blair on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I prefer the taste of Second Cup espresso, plus in general I think the overall quality of their drinks is higher than that of Starbucks, but this location in particular is great. On top of lots of natural light and keeping a very clean establishment, the staff themselves are incredibly friendly and upbeat. They know all their regulars by name along with the going-ons in their lives. Every smile is genuine and every day is a good day here. Good location to catch up with a friend, grab a quick latte, or sit and study/read. Nice to have the available parking in the back also. I've noticed lots of elderly people seem to frequent this location, which provides for a really sweet, home-y sort of atmosphere.
C	Christopher Lui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central location with a huge selection of everything coffee. Love their new iced coffee drinks. This location also has great seating for working on your laptop. I also like that there is parking behind the cafe. The perfect place to meet a friend.
