โ โ โ โ โ Extremely inefficient bank. In opening up my account they neglected to inform me of additional paperwork required leading to a hold on my funds for weeks. It took 3 visits (in a time of social distancing) and a phone call to sort out a simple issue. The teller who took the initial deposit that led to this hold was also very rude and acted as if I was wasting her time by getting her to do her job. I may not be a scotiabank customer for much longer but wholeheartedly recommend against this branch.

โ โ โ โ โ Terrible service. I need a financial statement with some requirements and I didnโt find any satisfying document online. So I went to the branch and asked for help. The staff said I should print the online e-statement by myself. I told her I didnโt find the thing I need , the e-statement didnโt include the all information required. She looked really unhappy and didnโt want to help. She kept saying that itโs online. They donโt print statement for customers bulabulabula.
Updates: I have closed my Scotia bank account and will never choose this bank

โ โ โ โ โ Just terrible customer service. Requested a credit card back to replace my existing expiring one Sept 28 and a month later I still have not received a credit card. The financial advisor said it was on its way and when I call the customer care line they stated no request was made, Emails are not responded or followed up in a timely manner. In the end I had to get my issue resolved myself through customer care not the advisor,
