โ โ โ โ โ Unfortunately the reviews are all accurate. Ordered a travel visa and they told me to come pick it up. I did that day and they said I couldn't pick it up I had to make an appointment with them .. but their system was down they would call. They called and said I could come pick it up and that I didn't need an appointment after all. I'm going to cancel the card it's not worth the hassle. I've ordered one through CIBC.

โ โ โ โ โ Very poor customer service, Will NEVER EVER GO TO THIS BRANCH. I am so glad that I got to experience the unprofessional , aggressive, and dismissal attitude of this bank's staff; which is all signs of the poor poor management. I was just that close to bring our mortgage to them. Very glad we didn't. Don't bother going to them. Very rude, very angry staff, and the sad thing is that their manager is even worse. So don't bother complaining to her. Just directly call their head office if you have time. other wise don't bother.

โ โ โ โ โ All I needed was a letter for a visa application and after almost 30 minutes of me explaining what I needed, the branch manager wanted to charge me 70 dollars for said letter and some statements.
Furious I went to the main branch downtown Vancouver and someone printed me a letter in 5 minutes free of charge no hassle. I didn't even have to explain my previous experience at the North road branch, it was just a simple letter a basic request for people doing a visa application.
I have emailed a complaint to scotiabank.
Do not use this branch for anything important!
The front staff are friendly but the management is terrible. I've never felt more undervalued and blatantly taken advantage of.

I wish I had read the reviews before going into an ATM and getting charge for money that I never received. If we think the tellers are not given a proper customer service try their manager!!! No wonder employees underneath her can't do their job properly. I was a Scotiabank customer just not at this branch but because of their quality of service and the inefficiency to answer and be responsible for their customer's interest, I have moved to another bank. Hope it helps the next person

โ โ โ โ โ Over 17 years with scotia still treat me like im new customer. Went to a different branch they treated me better then went to td and treated way better. Also you have the worst reviews at this location maybe time for new management. Good bye.

โ โ โ โ โ My wife I noticed a mysterious charge on my debit statement. We called the customer service, but they told us to go to the branch for help. We went to this location and explained what happened. We showed the charge on the statement. The clerk printed another statement and kept it for her file. We were told someone will follow up in 48hrs. Its been a week, no answer. We check our online statement, and the clerk charged us for printing the statement that she kept! This branch is a joke.

โ โ โ โ โ No wonder they have such a terrible rating already. Went to order some Czech and Hungarian currency to which the uninformed guy behind the counter said it was not possible. I have done this numerous times in the past. Smaller branches donโt usually carry the less common currencies but can certainly order them. He โconsultedโ his manager and his more โseniorโ colleague who both also said it wasnโt possible. Drove to another branch and ordered the forex without any problems. All 3 people at the North Road branch are clearly clueless. Incredible. Do not go to this branch if you can help it. Incompetence at its finest
