I have not had many issues in 10 years of doing business with Scotiabank. However when I did have an issue, getting anyone to help or even give me information was like pulling teeth. Unfortunately this is enough that I would not do business with them again and am in the process of moving to another institution. You are nothing but a number in their system.

The staff and managers were very helpful with my needs. This bank do be very busy and overcrowded especially during the weekdays so be prepared to wait but if your in a rush avoid this location.

I would avoid using Nadeer Koiya (?) if you could. He does not return phone calls and lacks proper communication.

Zero star actually, staff or manager cant even help it out by not holding the cheque for five days even in emergency situation. Online representative told me to go to the bank with id’s and they will do it for you , but this bank totally refused to do so and instead asked me to call back the online scotia and tell them that they are wrong . Dont you guys work under same policies? Whats the means to go to the branch?? If you cant solve the issues .Disgusting! Not going to continue this bank anymore .

Tanishq was really helpful. Initially I was disappointed with Cloverdale Branch as they didn't call me on the scheduled phone appointment. Next time, I reached Langley and luckily Tanishq helped me with my requirements.

They canceled my appointment in email last minute without any options to reschedule. Nobody asked or called back. Awful service and zero dedication to work

My wife and I have a mortgage with Scotia Bank ... the aniversary date is 01 April '22. I advised them that we would be paying them 10% of the principle on the anniversary date. But they took the funds from my account on the 01 March '22 ... one month early!!!! Needless to say, we were left scrambling as the 10% was locked in a GIC until mid March. It was only with the good graces and cooperation from my bank, Canadian Western Bank, that we were able to cover Scotia Bank's error .... and it cost us much in interest too! I would advise all potential customers of Scotia Bank to think twice about approaching them for anything whether a mortgage or general banking. Gordo Metro Vancouver, BC

I wanted to complain about the rudeness and attitude toward me from one particular woman but noticed her and 2 other tellers did not have a nametag. Interactions of other tellers was kind and customer service oriented. This particular woman should be fired for her rudeness that I have witnessed towards others on my last three visits. I refuse to have her serve me at the teller. I wait till someone else is available. I am determined to make sure at some point to get her name and make an official complaint. She is older with shoulder length light brown straight hair. Appalled at her non service towards people does she not understand that it's all bank clients that in the end pay her wages.
