WOW! What an awful customer service. In fact, we've never experienced worst service from a bank than this one!!! Too bad we can't give them zero stars! It has been at least 5 weeks that we have been waiting for call from the financial advisor (Lynn Desjardins) after having submitted our application for a loan, and NO ONE has bothered to call us back, including the manager of the branch. We've called a number of times, spoke with the national help desk, and NOTHING!!!! Never again we will be back here and will be more than happy to move our business including mortgage elsewhere. Don't waist your time on this branch!

I am very disappointed with this branch. I had higher expectations given the reviews that I have read here. It is obviously being managed by somebody who does not understand (or even cares) about customer satisfaction. Like with all things in business and customer service its the little things that count and they do not care about the little things. I suggest making the drive to Les Galeries de Hull or an Ontario branch. I really wish I could give 0 stars...

I can hardly ever use the drive-by ATM to deposit a cheque because it always says “non disponible”. Today, even the ATM inside was “non disponible”. What use are you to me if I can’t even deposit my money? Absolutely ridiculous.

Worst bank in the history of the planet. Atm hasn't worked in 3 weeks, staff lie about how long processes take. They just tell you to call the 1800 number and then the 1800 number tells you to go back to the branch... had to speak with the manager to get the issue resolved due to the incompetence of the employees.

It was the worst service I've had ever Sylvie Sakach, financial advisor at this branch, her attitude is really amazing. I had a phone call with her as I booked it for getting a line of credit appointment. Initial purpose was to get a secured line of credit from my mortage but had to switch to unsecure one, after 5mins of call she said I have to book another appointment to do that so, which doesn't make sense. She was scheduled for 30mins for this call and now she was trying to avoid, point out this attitude, and she's like I'm the one who makes her attitude like this. I've been through line of credit process before with other bank, but to gather information(T4 and paystub), it won't take more than 30mins as long as I have them ready. After she said "it's end of our conversation blabla" and hung up. Good work Sylvie. I had to call scotiabank again to make this complain, of course her supervisor never answers call. Awful branch ever!

Be prepared to wait a lifetime for a simple transaction. They never have enough people working in the front and the one person that is working moves at the pace of a turtle or has an attitude. Every time I have come here, I wait at least 45 minutes in line. I am seriously considering switching to BMO or desjardins because the service is atrocious. Save your time, go elsewhere
