Can I give this branch no stars? I would if I could. Terrible customer service and a branch manager that makes you feel stupid...I don't work in a bank. These people are supposed to be trained to offer you solutions and assistance. I would never recommend this branch to anyone and wish I had gone somewhere else.

We were here this afternoon for a balance transfer dealing with Ray. They were low on cash making them unable to provide more than $1500. We needed more than that. So we asked if she can call other branch and check if they can. She asked us to call them. Then we requested her if she can make a O/D and she said they have to charge for $10. We requested her again to waive off the fees as it was the branch issue for not having more than $1500 cash limit today. She straight up declined. Whenever we have had similar situations the rep has helped us out without any overdraft fee. She was a total amateur and just kept apologizing for everything rather than helping.

Terrible experience. I tried to open up a bank account for my son and they gave me wrong information- he shows up for his appointment and they turned him away. I’m so dissatisfied with this experience - I will NEVER open an account here and I will tell everyone I know please don’t. Shame on you.

So with Friday being a stat holiday do I have to wait until Monday ( or Tuesday) to receive my pension transfer. Most banks process these on weekends & holidays, but NOT scotia. How much interest do they steal from customers with this policy.

I am not a client at Scotia bank client and never will be, however my boyfriend is. He had lost his debit card, drove an hour out of the way to get a new one (he had lost his wallet with ID, but did have a picture of his ID along with a Scotia Visa card) he was told they can not help him at all, he has to go to his branch in Peterborough. I am TD client and I have lost my card in different provinces and not once have I been treated so poorly by staff. We had a 4 month old in the car and no gas to get home, we we’re not expecting to be so mistreated. We unfortunately had to get a friend to meet us an hour away to help us for the night. So if anyone with Scotia bank has ever been mistreated this way, TD is a super amazing bank! And does everything they can to help their clients. Only put a star to leave a comment

I visited this branch in early April 2022 to handle a line of credit issue, and though it was a very confusing and complicated matter, Rae from the front desk was outstanding. She literally left the area where she works, followed me to the teller, and stood with him the entire time until my matter was resolved. Great job Rae! Because of you, a very complicated and confusing issue was handled.

Been here today. They have Security that can't confront anti maskers. They have staff that don't tell anti maskers to wear a mask.. the requirements to be exempt from wearing a mask is to be not able to move limbs... legal fact.. the whole religion...false...The manager can call police to remove the people from the bank but don't because of keeping the doller flowing ..but it caused this over 10 year client to pull his services from this location.. and will be looking for a location that is trained to call the police to remove risks from public areas instead of taking their money... I have personally lost family due to contact with anti vaxxers and anti maskers... it is morally and economically a start of a nightmare.. for staff and for client..

I would honest give it zero stars if I could! The front desk lady was compassionate and tried to find a solution, as for the tellers don’t get me started. Ever time I’ve gone into this branch AVOID Syed! Has no customer service skills nor understanding of his own job, I’ve heard one thing from him that he’s unable to help and do anything in branch, yet I got back into line and asked another teller and they fixed the issue within minutes ? what’s the point of paying a monthly banking fee when you can’t even get assistance when you need it! Going to another location in the short term and DEFINITELY going to TD in the long term.
