J	Jacqueline A. Lacroix on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is 2020 and your banks are closed everyday at 3pm!!?? How is anyone supposed to get to the bank during work hours? And yes, some of us are still working during the covid pandemic. Get with it Scotia Bank and get some more flexible hours for those of us who need it...or wait...maybe I'll just change to another bank instead.

After requesting someone different I had a much more positive experience. 2 weeks of wasted time and multiple unnecessary visits to the bank during a pandemic.

One mistake I made depositing my check to the wrong account and Laura and the manager from Ottewell branch made me feel like a criminal, with MY own money. I need to just close all my accounts and go elsewhere. 40 years, this place is turning into a big joke by these two.

Mckenzie was working at the front desk who took my ID then after several minutes gave back the ID . She then left the front desk took awhile. Then got back and asked why was I opening the account. A question I did not answer as that was a irrelevant question . At that point i decided to start recording. the customer experience lead Shafiya Hanif walked to the desk then without any justify reasons advising Mckenzie to close the account. Shafiya Hanif then realized I was recording. She then had a problem that I was recording and decided to call the cops. She also advised Mckenzie to block the account so I'm unable to open any future accounts. Mckenzie realized I was recording while looking at the computer. she minimize the screen then moved the computer and the chair. then continued to type her misleading notes. The cops arrived they were very nice and understanding. However there was nothing much they could have done regarding this ordeal. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH.

K	Kellen Westman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very difficult to get time with an advisor. I emailed the last advisor I spoke to in 2020 but they've changed roles and forwarded my request to another person. After waiting a week with no response, I emailed to check-in and that person turns out to be on vacation for the next 6 weeks. When I emailed the alternative contact in their out of office response, the email was returned undeliverable. I then booked a phone-appointment using the online tool 4 days ago, and now that advisor no-showed the appointment (I did not receive a call). I am now on hold with the branch customer service to see if we can sort it out, and the computer voice just told me it's a 20 minute wait. Why is this so hard?
