S	Scotiabank Olds Sucks! on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ False name real review, I have been with Scotiabank for 18 years since I opened my first bank account, multiple towns and difference branches, never had a single issue obtaining a loan or dealings with business associates. After dealing with this olds branch I have threatened to leave scotiabank for good. Taking my mortgage, LoC, vehicle loans, savings and tfsa’s elsewhere. The ladies up front are always good, but everyone else it’s such a revolving door around there you can never talk to the same person, asides from that don’t expect a call back until the end of the day if at all. Management (DALE) drags their feet and will not admit fault. I’m writing this review in angst at the moment as I am beyond frustrated. DO NOT DEAL with this branch for loans/mortgage. Look else where.
T	T Hilstad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have had nothing but problems with this branch. Actually holding my account for 8 business days! I always loved Scotia bank until the Olds branch was my branch. I will be switching to a new bank and I will NEVER recommend Scotia again. I absolutely DO NOT recommend!

I have banked with other institutions before Scotiabank is my new home!

The branch manager Dale is willing to listen and the staff know people in person I feel treated like an important customer regardless of my status. Thank you Scotiabank I will always recommend you to my peers and friends!

Scotia has botched every aspect of banking. Personal. Riffs. Investments. And they've charged huge handling fees. Dont bank with Scotia. Uddate. I opened another Scotiabank account for Mexico business. They botched this as well.. I guess I'm a slow learner

Also received great service when I recently sold our home and moved. The mortgage process was seamless and one of the reason I have always used BNS. But the BNS rep for the mortgage was the best I have every dealt with.
L	Ludo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to write another review for this bank. First to clarify, that the front line staff are great and friendly. When it comes to all other products (mortgage, loans...) that's a whole other story you don't get to see unless you need one. Sad part is that manager (Dale) only cares about the reviews you leave once you get an email from them, so after the last negative one (after raising fees and eliminating interest on some of my accounts) he made sure I don't get to leave a review any more. That is his personal solution of not getting a negative one from me again... I wanted to change my mortgage with them because of the low interest rates. But his solution was basically "don't bother us, we wasted enough time dealing with you"... it wasn't in those exact words, but that's how I read it. So guess what, I dealt with it myself. They lost my mortgage that I am now paying less than half interest they were charging me, I have closed the account they started to charge fees on, I have transferred my investment accounts I had with them... Hope he is happy and proud of his accomplishment. Just remember people, there are always other options and they are either free or charge less and pay higher interest than the "big boys" that rake in billions in profit that you are helping to pad... You have a choice, so make it.
