that is the response from the manager.
and of course, if you call, the current waiting time is longer than 45 minutes.
for your own emotional and financial well-being, avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why just this location have worse staff, everywhere else in Scotiabank they are so nice. The teller name SHIVAM last week ask my marriage certificate just to change it in the system as I need a copy of bank summary. He do not accept a soft copy and needs a physical copy of marriage certificate otherwise he put single or separated in the copy which I need.
And the worse part is I was already married when I came to Canada years back. And just because he don’t know that he needs a marriage certificate. Thank God there are several more branches in Richmond. Then I went to brighouse station branch. There they did it right away laughing. And I do not need to apply for a marriage certificate just to prove them that I am married .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly appreciate the customer service in this place, I can recall 3 Tellers serving their best in a busy afternoon on 10th of June, 2021. Their names were - Lin, Jennifer & Shivam. However, Jeniffer was the one who helped me and my friend.
To add - I recall one customer being extremely rude to the staff and throwing personal remarks which made me really uncomfortable at first, but staff was trained and mature enough to not let that effect their customer service and other customers. All of my matters were resolved at once with due patience.
After today's experience I have so much respect for people working in front lines and banking industry. Thanks for everything you do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and professional staffs helped me transfer my account from toronto to Vancouver smoothly when I first arrived , after 1 year here they called me to pick up my lost wallet even after the closing time just want to say extra thanks to the staff & the person who found it . ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in branch to get last 30 days statement and been told there is a charging $5/month. it is first time i know printing statement in branch need to pay. Not sure whether it is just this branch. if you pay $30 monthly fee, definitely other banks like cibc rbc can provide better services, at least no extra fee for just one month paper statement

Do not go to this Branch. especially don't not go for Finance advisor Jessica Li. all she want just sale u a mortgage when you trying to just ask some very simple question to do some every day banking .If you don't buy mortgage she will tell she need to go for lunch no time and ask u to go someone else. Good job on your work trouble advisor Jessica Li. Someone has to investigate this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are Mike Liu and Leo Liu and have been with this branch of Scotiabank at Alderbridge Place for over ten years. My family and friends all like both the service and staff at this branch. After reading some of the unfair and groundless comments on this branch and its staff, we could no longer hold back back but write this comment. Some of the issues could be attributed to the trainees. The management has tried vary hard to teach and train the trainees patiently and professionally. However, once those trainees finished their training, they tended to immediately want to move to some downtown and bigger branches. Nonetheless, both the branch manager Jeremy Yang and his able chief assistant, the chief of customer services, Jennifer and financial adviser Li are all dedicated professionals. I seldom see a branch manager coming to the front and helped his/her staff serve customers so very often. They have our respect and appreciation. Jeremy is all in all, the very best. Dr. Leo Liu, Ph.D., Professor of Canadian law. Also former President, Canadian Chinese Academic & Professional Society of Canada. I have been in Canada for decades. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude employee Jimmy Yang. Please refrain from coming to this branch or even consider using Scotiabank. I have used Scotia since I was in college and my home branch was always helpful. Because of how I was treated in this branch I regretted ever using Scotia at all.
